Whether you've got a sweet or savoury tooth, we all know what it's like to really fancy a little (or large) bit of something. GBBO contestant Martha Collison's new book Crave is about just that - and we're asking you to share your cravings below for a chance to win.

We all know the feeling. What starts as an insignificant little niggle which grows into a demanding full-on craving. The kind that drags you out of bed in the middle of the night on a search for cheese, or causes you to break away from your desk in a desperate hunt for chocolate.

Crave is the second book from Sunday Times bestselling author and Great British Bake Off contestant, Martha Collison. Using inspired food science and delicious cuisine combinations, she provides go-to recipes incorporating eight flavours we so often find ourselves hankering for: chocolate, cheese, caramel, citrus, fruit, nut, spice – and alcohol!

These include ‘Instant’ recipes like lemon cheesecake pots, ‘Soon’ recipes that are ready to snaffle in under an hour, such as chilli chocolate churros, and you’ll also find ‘Worth the Wait’ recipes, which really are what they say on the tin... Creative, inspiring and imaginative, these are the recipes you just have to have.

For the first time since the introduction of the original Tilt-Head Stand Mixer in 1936, KitchenAid has launched a mini version of its iconic culinary workhorse. The KitchenAid MINI Stand Mixer, is 20% smaller and 25% lighter with a 3.3 litre bowl - perfect for smaller batch lifestyles!

To be in with a chance of winning a copy of the book plus a KitchenAid MINI stand mixer (worth £449) just tell us: what food or flavours do you crave most? Feel free to give examples of the ways you satisfy them e.g. what meals - even the more weird and wonderful ones!

Crave is out on 27 July - buy the book from Amazon for £16.99

*KitchenAid MINI stand mixer colour will be pink

Brie, I could eat it morning, noon and night. Just by its self.

Santress · 05/08/2017 20:44

Homemade cupcakes - with extra frosting!

Afow1985 · 05/08/2017 21:33

Chocolate. At a certain time in the evening I neeeeeed chocolate. My husband and I take it in turns to go to the corner shop - I think the man who runs it thinks we have an issue!

Cravings can also be satisfied by chocolate cake, chocolate icecream and hot chocolate - so not fussy really 😂

BlackRibboner · 05/08/2017 21:35

Crisps. Specifically salt and vinegar Pringles or BBQ beef Hula Hoops. Which I choose depends on how many people I'm likely to be breathing on that day . . . !

Radley1 · 05/08/2017 21:57

Chocolate milk. plain or white
I confess I salive with every bite

elablue · 05/08/2017 22:52

Chocolate. All the time. Day and night. Best served with a hot cut of tea.

PearlyPinkNails · 05/08/2017 23:06

Cream cakes, sometimes I just have to have a really sticky, jammy, creamy cake with lots of icing on top.

Kjb920 · 05/08/2017 23:13

This is a guilty pleasure - frazzles! I've been vegetarian for over 30 years but I crave this smoky saltiness!

bloodypassword · 05/08/2017 23:17

I often crave salty snacks. Crunchy peanut butter is a favourite. Just typing out the words makes my mouth water! Crunchy peanut butter on white sliced bread is a craving I have regularly. I may sometimes sprinkle salt on top too. Delicious!

aspoonfulofyourownmedicine · 05/08/2017 23:55

Decent slab of steak, cooked to perfection (medium/rare) with a lush diane sauce and home made, thrice-cooked chips. I'd eat it for every meal, morning, noon and night!

ForAllTheCows · 06/08/2017 01:23

Cold Boiled eggs, salted beetroot and mini home baked sausage rolls with a mix of mayo and brown sauce on the side, preferably just all chopped up into large pieces and dipped into the brown sauce/mayo yumminess. and nope I'm not pregnant

thesoupdragon44 · 06/08/2017 02:00

I quite often crave chocolate it's always good in cake form or as a brownie but for an instant fix I usually go for ice cream with a handfull of raspberries or soft fruit as one of my 5 a day!

Quod · 06/08/2017 07:00

Biscuits

Tigger83 · 06/08/2017 07:12

At the moment my obsession is still salted caramel- specifically ice cream but anything will do! I'm considering salted peanut caramel as my next go to which I think would be out of this world!

Squeezed · 06/08/2017 07:19

Dd is on a low fodmap diet so we don't have garlic and onion at the moment. I didn't realise how much I loved them! I might start sneaking them when she's gone to bed.

Ledgebaby · 06/08/2017 08:02

Greek yoghurt by the bucketful - full fat. By far the most regular occupant of my fridge.

Flanderspigeonmurderer · 06/08/2017 08:31

When I was pregnant it was cheese and any kind of juicy fruit.
Now it's just stodge, especially Danish pastries.

sparky771177 · 06/08/2017 08:38

Hot spicy chicken.I really love chicken is the best.

sparky771177 · 06/08/2017 08:39

Chicken hot spicy chicken I crave all the time.

LizOz · 06/08/2017 10:12

Usually chocolate 🍫

Lulioli · 06/08/2017 12:57

For years I always turned my nose up at anything Japanese but since having my children, eldest is 11, I can't stop craving sashimi, miso and those little Japanese pickled vegetables. Just writing now makes my mouth water! Must be my hormones or something....

daydreambeliever21 · 06/08/2017 15:05

Depends.
If I'm in a savoury mood then it is basil pesto or cheese and onion flavour crisps. If I'm in a sweet mood it's often lemon cheesecake.

MsPassepartout · 06/08/2017 15:11

Usually savoury stuff. Especially crisps, but also nice bread and cheeses.
But having said that, sweet stuff like chocolate is especially tempting if I'm tired. Not sure why that is, but chocolate is a big craving after a bad nights sleep.

andbabymakesthree · 06/08/2017 15:15

Lemon meringue is something I crave occasionally.
