programme on ch4 next thursday: tony robinson chasing up some of the theories and trying to trace them through to modern-day. haven't read the book yet but thought this looked interesting.

fantastic book not my normal type of read but really enjoyed it have just ordered Angels & Demons from tesco to read this weekend.

I'm so glad I'm not the only person who didn't like it! Totally agree with monkey and donnie - I thought it was predictable, formulaic, badly written, with one dimensional characters, and so obviously geared towards being made into a film it was untrue. I was really looking forward to reading it but just found it dreary and trite. At the first mention of the Holy Grail I felt like stopping reading - just thought "oh FGS...can't you come up with something a bit more original than that?!" Seen Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade - been there, done that!

it was actually yorkie - it was a friend that recomend the book not my normal read but was a book that once i started i couldn't out down.

The film is due to be releashed next yr.
