Paul Finch, the no.1 bestselling author of Hunted and Stalkers, has written an even darker thriller. PC Lucy Clayburn has to delve into the criminal underworld to track down a brutal serial killer, but she's about to discover that going undercover is the most dangerous work there is.

I found it too gory for my liking but then I'm not a fan of blood and gore.

mumpetuk1 · 25/11/2016 13:33

NO, but I can't wait to as I have heard that it is very good.

I have not read this but it looks very interesting.

My friend lent me a copy of this and I thought it was brilliant. The story was well planned but a bit gruesome in places. I would recommend it xx

Finally got a chance to read the book and I loved it so much I read it in one day. It has a great storyline that keeps you interested with some twists you wouldn't expect. The descriptions really make you see it in your mind in a way a lot of books don't. The characters are all very likeable and you really get drawn into their world.

This book had me gripped from early on. I really enjoyed most of it, but felt that the ending was rather unsatisfying. It almost seemed that the author forgot the main plot of the book and added it as an afterthought, with little narrative to the conclusion.

I forgot to comment before the 25th - Sorry! I did enjoy the book as a whole mainly the fact the "tough cop" was a woman and seemed very much in control. Like previous posters, I did feel that the main storyline petered out and the conclusion felt rushed. My partner also read the book and stated he enjoyed it, although a little bit gory for his tastes!

Redhotchillidog · 05/12/2016 09:17

Took a little while for the book to arrive and then a little while longer to read it. I can give you two very good reasons why reading is a luxury afforded after dark! On the whole i thought the book was a little disappointing, started brilliantly but tailed off half way through. Without giving to much away it is difficult to tell you more. Stick with it though as i have read some positive reviews and at the end of the day it boils down to personal taste.

Although my book was delayed, I was delighted to receive it so many thanks for chasing it up. Looks great - can't wait to get started - just need to wait for a quiet moment first.....
