Book swap

[UCM]

I am thinking that we should do a book swap. You send a book to someone who sends a book to someone and so on. It doesn't matter if you didn't like the book, the next one might please you.

phew - or no book for me [sob]

I have to apologise! I was all ready to wrap and send the book I had mentioned to UCM when I spotted a different one hiding behind it. Got to thinking and realised I couldn't remember much of what went on in the fist book and wasn't even sure I had enjoyed it that much. The other book, however, I loved. It's one by Mike Gayle, who I have mentioned here a few times and an author I think more people should be aware of! Needless to say, I've just posted that one instead. Now I'm feeling guilty though, as UCM has worked hard to co-ordinate all of this and I just know that somebody else will have sent the same book. Sorry sorry sorry if I've mucked things up. If not though, it is a great read!

Have posted my book this afternoon so you might get it tomorrow!

posting mine in a minute, but wanted to explain something....

I had a choice of two books, one quite expensive and one with 99p plastered over the cover. I opted for the 99p, because it is (IMO) a far superior book, esp. in term of novelty, and because its a new author (which is why the 99p- bought it at an Ottakars new author launch day).

Please don't think i'm stingy, its just it made me PMSL reading this book, and I really wanted to share it, having a DH who only reads manuals.

katyrocks have you sent your book out yet? if not then k/a/angel can send a book to the person you are supposed to send one to and you can send your to k/a/angel. i dont think that will mess anything up
