After seeing Mrscampbellblacks nick name on the s&b threads. It reminded me how much I enjoyed her books. Can anyone remember what sequence they follow before I pounce on the second hand book shops.

Have you read Class? non-fiction, study of the English class system, dead funny and spot on. Not since Nancy Mitford has anyone skewered social attitudes so mercilessly. She is a very smart woman.

My favourites are Riders and The Man Who Made Husbands Jealous. I wanted to call ds1 Lysander or Rupert but oh vetoed them.

I reckon in perfect seriousness that her books will die a death for 100 years and then will be resurrected and celebrated as classics a la Jane Austen. They are really brilliant social comedies.

The trouble with Rupert Everett is that we all know he's gay, even tho' he's a damn good actor, and RCB is so very very not homosexual.
