Anyone doing the World Book Night Giveaway?

Anyone applied to do the World Book Night Book Giveaway thingy? still a couple of days to apply.

DH has applied and if he gets given a box of books,I will help him with the giving. I looks like a good selection, we are already trying to work out who should get what.

My DH has applied, it would be great to be chosen, - do you get 48 of the same book, or one of each title?

One of each title (I hope!!)

I think it's 48 of the same title - that's why you have to explain why you are passionate about one book in particular and say what your second choice is if your first choice is not available.

I've enjoyed reading several of the books on the list - but am not sure I'm passionate enough about any of them - I think I'm going to leave the giving to people who are really excited about the particular titles.

If they choose you, you get 48 of the same title I think and you have to prove that they will be given to deserving causes.

Its 48 of the same. Hence you choose and say why.And choose a second one to give away in case the first isnt available.
I've done mine . But it was a close call between 4, I feel like applying 4 times

Oh gawd. He completely misread the instructions! Yes you are right 48 of the same book. He chose Toni Morrison's Beloved.

My DH is insisting you get one of each book - and he didn't choose one so I think our chances of getting selected are slim to none

It wouldn't work to get one of each because you get 48 yet there are 25 to choose from. I found it hard to choose too.

Have just applied in my name. I went for Cloud Atlas.
