countdown to Jilly!!!

after reading Caitlin Morans interview with Jilly Cooper at the weekend - I am throughly overexicted and can't wait for Thursday.

Anyone else planning to start reading on thurs?

Mine has been pre ordered on Amazon. Cannot wait!

Another one here that has been counting down the days to the new Jilly. I even dreamt I had got my hands on it last night, and woke up gutted I have to wait until Thursday.

oh gosh - i can't wait!!! i'll be useless for a couple of days once it's in my grubby little hands!

Have even made plans for the Jillyathon on Thursday. Childcare arranged with local creche in morning, DP has afternoon off work with strict instructions Im not to be disturbed, and readymeals from marks . I would have got some wine in too, but just found out Im pregnant, so will be stuffing chocolate instead.

I know its sad, but am nearly sick with excitement!

Am v impressed by your dedication and commitment June - dreaming about having the book already is true obsession. I have decided my name stands for Fen and Dino and so am joyous as an otter! Although am now also worried that I havn't pre-ordered and all shops will be sold out by 9am Thursday.

FnD - Dont worry about the books being out of stock, Tesco will probably get them in by the truckload.

Am now worried about my preordered Jilly, as it may come a few hours later than I want, so I am now going to ring up bookstores and see what time they are getting it in. I will report back [sad no life Jilly obsessed emoticon]. I am liking the name! I loved Fen, the crash dieting, the Billy issues, friendship with Rupert, blah blah. Jilly creates some brilliant characters.

mmmperuna Nope Im not Juneybean, but I think another name change maybe in order to honour the new book, am thinking 'JillyCoopersOtter' or something rude about RCB's member

Have been thinking far too much about the book today and every time I walk upstairs I am greeted by the sight of some Jilly books on the bookshelf when then just starts me off again.

have just had a cunning thought - do you think 24 hour supermarkets will put it on the shelfs after midnight...

Have been having flashbacks to when i first read Riders - it was the same year as a royal wedding but can't remember which.

OMG Flora!! I am so sorry, that is awful news. If it will make you feel better, I don't think i will have a chance to start it until tomorrow night (although I have had a sneaky peak at the characters pages).

Just downloaded to my iPhone. It had better be back to the old form, that school one was awful drivel. (Obviously Riders and Rivals were drivel too, but engrossing drivel. )
