I started on Monday (cliche) I have about 4 bloody stone to lose but at least I have started....

It is very quiet in here and it would be nice to have some company going through this. I have got a stinky cold at the minute so am off work which has made it tricky but I am sticking to the plan .

I have downloaded the app and am doing it that way rather than into an actual meeting. Hoping this is not just an expensive fitness pal....

I am also realising that I am having to cut down on the booze as well which is annoying.

Anyone out there want to join me ?

If you go to meetings can't you still pay weekly? Then you could stop going if its not for you.

No you can't pay weekly. At my first group I queued up and was told to go sit down and download the App fill in the questionnaire and come back to the scales. I picked the first month free then pay 22.50 per month minimum 2 months. If I'd joined SW I'd have bought a 12 week/3 month countdown and that would have been £60 so this is cheaper. Personally I think 3 months is a good commitment paying weekly doesn't work for me I have a bad week and don't go back

I had a night away last Sat and the coach says don't add it up just wipe out your weeklies and start again.

Weigh in yesterday and one pound down. I had gone of piste over the weekend so I’m happy with that. That’s 5lbs off in the three weeks I’ve been doing personal points, renewed focus this week in the Hope I can get to half a stone for the month. Then who knows what’ll happen around Christmas!

Hello people :) I've been doing WW since end of Feb and lost over 4 stone on purple. With this new personal points thing, I was worried at first that I wasn't going to have enough points, but actually I am finding I have far too many points left over that I just can't use. On purple I got used to eating loads of veggies, fruit, chicken and fish and very little bread/pasta etc. I also do a lot of exercise now. On this new plan, I gain points when eating my standard lunch. I gain points when I exercise. I don't even bother to track my water. I had 69 weeklies left at the end of last week, and I ate between 18 and 23 points worth every day. I probably only want to lost another half stone or so could probably manage that without the app. But I have loved the app for all this time, and I still find it excellent for tracking. I just don't think it is fine tuned enough yet. I wish I could turn exercise points off (I just ignore them instead). Is anyone else finding this?

Well done Apollo, Triceps Basil this thread was the last little push I needed to try something new so I can't compare Personal Points to anything previous as I only joined a fortnight ago never done WW before.
Another 3 off this week making me 8lbs down in 2 weeks. I can do my coat up again Smile.
I do track steps and yoga but it's not a vast amount of points I don't track water but 1 point for 2 litres is quite hard to hit I find. I'm using nearly all my points if not going over but someone in my group said the points for running or anything cardio are ridiculous. My hardcore sweaty yoga only gets me 3.

I fell off the thread oops,

Stayed the same last week - but another 1lb off this week (Monday weigh day) which I am over the moon with as had 2 boozy birthday weekends and about 4 meals out in that time too, only 2 lbs to go to get under 12 stone! Last time I was this heavy I was 9 months pregnant boo!)

@LookslovelyinSpringtime they have recently stopped the colours and instead when you sign up you complete a questionnaire and they tailor your plan to you personally.

Once you have signed up you do a questionnaire and it tailors the plan to what you like eating and your lifestyle. If you are not keen on the free foods you are given then you can retake the questionnaire until you get a plan that suits your needs. The colour coded plans no longer exist.

Another 3 off for me making 10lb in 4 weeks so I'm really pleased. I talked to the coach about tweaking my free foods 9ver Christmas and she said don't just keep going. I've got a weigh in on Christmas Eve then nothing til Jan
