Yes I would definitely say it gets better, on the 3mg though I didn’t really suffer maybe just heartburn, 7mg was a different story to start was not very well and sick! I think eating breakfast lunch and dinner helped with the nausea. I had to just eat toast to start so I could keep it down. Also had to avoid any processed food as found that made me worse. Hope you feel better soon Llamallamadingdong

Yes I don’t think my DH would understand why I’m taking them, he doesn’t realise how hard it was to lose weight in peri menopause! I hadn’t thought about if I had a reaction though, so you are defo right to say something Londonlady365.

Doggymummar I haven’t had hiccups for a while!! Hope they’ve gone for you!!

Thanks! Feeling a lot better thanks. Weighed myself this morning and I’ve lost 6lb this week (though I expect a fair bit of that is fester weight).

Was contemplating giving up as the stomach side effects were taking over and I felt awful (I have IBS which I don’t think helps as I can be quite sensitive to diet changes). Going to keep at it for now.

Good luck @TangoBrava

Doggymummar · 04/05/2023 13:56

Well done, I'm a bit miffed I wanted to stay on 7mg for another month but the doctor refused to prescribe them! So I have to go to 14mg against my wishes. I hope I don't have a repeat of the side effects from 7mg as I stRTED a new job this week and need to be on top form grrr

Londonlady365 · 04/05/2023 14:37

Why did they insist you go on 14mg? I should get 14mg on Sat but won't start until after the weekend. I am wondering if 14mg every other day would work like 7mg everyday given 7 day half life.

Londonlady365 · 04/05/2023 14:40

Anyone else noticed better mental clarity? My brain fog that I thought was menopause has gone completely. Loads more energy too. I feel like I used to. Maybe I had a blood sugar issue and didn't realise.

RybelsusDay1x20MAR23 · 04/05/2023 16:00

Does anyone have explosive diarrhea after eating ?

I had it after soap (not high fat) and salami (not too much)

This was at lunchtime, dinner no issues, 2 days between?

OP that was my plan. But I haven't had any side effects yet.

Cjgdjkf · 04/05/2023 16:05

Thats super strange, I had no issues getting another lot of 7mg. I did put (I think) that I was still losing weight and happy on it so wanted to stay at that level. What reason did they give? Isn’t it essentially 2 x 7mg anyway? I don’t think there’s a 14mg single tablet X

Doggymummar · 04/05/2023 16:25

I had to call them and it was a call centre in India I think line was terrible. They asked if I had any side effects and I said no but I wanted to do another month as it was working well and he just kept saying is not possible you must have 14mg so in the end I said ok then. If it's just two tablets then that's great I get two month supply for only £10 more. We will see tomorrow

Doggymummar · 04/05/2023 16:28

No I've not had diahrea sorry for spelling but I have stopped eating anything high fat. Hope you recover soon

TangoBrava · 04/05/2023 16:33

Thank you everyone.

I think I'll see how I feel in the morning and decide then 😆

The tablets have arrived at least. I guess the post is all delayed due to the bank holiday.

Fingers crossed for few side effects, whenever I start 🤞🏻

Cjgdjkf · 04/05/2023 17:05

RybelsusDay1x20MAR23 only if I eat really fatty or sugary food. I haven’t experienced it for a while (at least a few weeks). Hope you are better soon

RybelsusDay1x20MAR23 · 04/05/2023 17:31

Thank you all

I'm OK, it's just happened twice, and once it's 'out' I'm fine

Evening, it was me that thought it was two 7mg tablets for 14mg but I don’t think that’s correct as I was doing some research tonight (I’m not feeling as full on my 7mg and seem to be eating more the last few days!) and came across the fact taking two 7mg for 14mg dose isn’t recommended as it hasn’t been studied. Im convinced I saw it somewhere that it was two 7mg but I’m clearly wrong! Be interesting to know tomorrow if it’s just one tablet.

Doggymummar · 05/05/2023 19:19

I'll let you know if they arrive tomorrow
