Rybelsus Day 01

I am on day 1 of taking rybelsus

I got my prescription from Health Express, for £139 (I'm not referring, just information)

I'm 14st 7lbs and 5ft 7.5inches

Took tablet at 0630 when I woke up

Feel free to join in here, I will try to update weekly losses (fingers crossed)

Yeah mines gone up to £249 too. It's getting a bit silly now.

Manual have got no rybelsus left. They've offered 0.5 Ozempic for £250 or Trulicity for £169. I don't really want either as I don't like the idea of injecting myself and possibly reacting badly but having to wait a few days for the effects to wear off. So I'm going to decline and keep going with the stock of rybelsus I've got left.

@NotABeliever ive not had an email yet, my order isn’t due until 10th though.

@WilkinsonM ive been on 7mg for over 3 months as it works well for me so I have g moved up to 14mg.

You must be particularly sensitive to the drug. 1mg ozempic is a therapeutic dose which is equal to 28mg rybelsus which isn't even a prescribed dose!

@Cjgdjkf my Numan order is due 11th August
To be honest, I'm not too fussed about receiving 7 mg. It curbs my appetite pretty well for me even at 7 mg.

I started Rybelsus at the end of May.

One month on 3mg which was good - lost about 7lbs and then last 2 months on 7mg.

Tolerating well.
Not lost much more - maybe another 4lbs.

Haven't felt much effect on 7mg. But still eating less and my years of IBS much improved!

Although been on holiday in Ireland with lots of chips and Guinness 🙈

So Manual have no Rybelsus and offered me 0.5mg Ozempic. Not sure whether to switch or to stick to Rybelsus but move to 14mg?

Am hoping my brother can get it in Dubai for me.

Anyone switched from Rybelsus to Oz or should I stick if I can get it?

@Lambrilittlelegs glad you are tolerating it. I have heard of people moving from Ozempic to Rybelsus but Nov the other way round. Tbh I would have to stop if can’t get Rybelsus as I don’t fancy the needle or having it in the fridge (tablets easier as I’ve not told family I’m doing this!). Hope you can get some!

we’ll have to wait and seen then @NotABeliever i really hope they can deliver 7mg for us!!

@WilkinsonM yes maybe. I’m also mainly careful about eating protein and doing steps each day with gym 3/4 times a week so maybe that’s helping (though that without the Rybelsus had no effect prior!)

@Lambrilittlelegs I think it's mainly personal preference but I read somewhere Ozempic injectables are stronger than Rybelsus, I think 14mg = 0.5mg of Ozempic

How's everyone doing? I've just been reading on reddit that quite a few people on there (it's a USA based forum as you probably know) are planning to book their holiday based on wherever in the world ozempic/saxenda is available and cheap and use their holiday as an opportunity to stock up. People are heading to Japan or Dubai for it apparently.

I think the cost of a holiday in Japan or Dubai might outweigh the savings on ozempic! Surely a global shortage means global everywhere?

So I’m goi go to Dubai shortly though not with the intention of buying Rybelsus lol and I was wondering if you can take it in to the country! Was freaking out about their strict laws. I’ve heard nothing from Numan, not sure how I can find out if it’s scheduled either on their app/website

@Pineapplepansy i was told the same thing by manual so cancelled my subscription. Spoke to them this morning and was told they do in fact have 7mg for existing customers. Long story short I’m expecting 7mg in the post tomorrow paid £169.99
