Bobbie toast encore or insitu?

ZoneArmatrading · 16/04/2010 17:09

I would be highly motivated to keep my lead if I was beating DH with something physical.

NomDePlume · 16/04/2010 17:11

well quite. It does help to be pitted against him, good for motivation. Otherwise I'd get bored and go back to be a wobbly lard arsed fatty

CheeeseOnToast · 16/04/2010 17:30

wish I had your motivation, NDP. I have a 10k to train for, which is in 3 weeks, and I need to get off my big fat lazy behind.

How bad on a scale of 1-10 is cauliflower cheese? homemade? Really fancy it. If i have a load of other veg with it?

NomDePlume · 16/04/2010 17:34

really bad. Dairy overload.

Cheese - bad
Milk - bad
Flour - ok / depends if you are on a non wheat bloat kick
Cauliflower - good

OTOH it is bloody delicious and if you have it with something light and other veg and don;t biff out for the rest of the day, you should be within your cal count.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 16/04/2010 18:20

at Ann's new name.

My parents have been staying since wednesday, originally as childcare while I nom'd my way through Spain, now just to give me a hand. They are terrible feeders though. Am kicking them out this evening so they can go feed their cats etc. So I can eat normal, proper food, ie. stuff that doesn't make you fat.

What do I have? SuSoup? Carrot salad? I think there's some roast chicken left...

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 16/04/2010 18:20

It's BEIGE. If you're going to be norty Cheeese do it in style. Caully cheese sounds almost healthy.

fishie · 16/04/2010 18:22

ann i think you should get a third opinion from another set of scales. that 5lb difference must play havoc with the motivation.

i am no heavier and no lighter. i have managed an 11k run and will try same again tomorrow / sunday. i think it makes me hungrier though, will have to experiment with filling diety post-run grub.

bobbiewickham · 16/04/2010 18:33

Toast still in situ, but causing a slight commotion. Think it may have been Too Soon.

It's that horrible thing where you get hunger pangs but can't eat.

Might have a bath in a bit, so I can admire my flatter tum. Might cheer me up.

MamaGlee · 16/04/2010 18:46

[cold look at MOST of the posters on here]

Atich it wasn't myf ault, i didn't mention it at ALL this time

[look turns glacial]

chibi · 16/04/2010 18:55

You want to try them instore lady I had a pair if clogs once, they were like having flippyfloppy cement blocks stuck to my feet.

Looked ace, though

cyb · 16/04/2010 19:00

mamaG all the youngsters are wearing their clogs with cropped/rolled up cargos or chinos

Nice clogs, like 'em.

BudaisintheZONE · 16/04/2010 19:05

I am FAT biffer.

Have had fish and chips again.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 16/04/2010 19:08

Yeah - I like them - but would try them for walking first. Wear mine with chinos vest top and nipped in jacket (covers muffinage) or slouchy stripy sweater (covers muffinage).

duckyfuzz · 16/04/2010 19:10

2lb up on 2 weeks ago here, but london trip + PMT means this shoudl be a good loss within a week

like the clogs, I want some but can't do that heel height, haven't seen any decent ones that are midheel - a friday night challenge for you girls

will now read rest of thread...

cyb · 16/04/2010 19:13

dinkystinky · 16/04/2010 19:17

DH has come home with a bloody M&S gastropub paella thing and some sling in oven vegs (which are mostly bloody potatoes)... bang goes my plan for pizza and G&T tonight...

duckyfuzz · 16/04/2010 19:21

dare I ask what gave it away cyb?

I live in flats, every time I wear heels someone comments

plus dh is shortarse

bobbiewickham · 16/04/2010 19:24

Did he leave the loo seat up, cyb?

CheeeseOnToast · 16/04/2010 19:25

You'll be pleased to know, NDP, I dissuaded myself from the cauli cheese and instead bought the following to have for my dinny din dins:

Naice ham
lettuce (cos and baby leaf)
chezza toms
celery
cucumber
red pepper

which i will have with some balsamic vinegar, and a chicken garlic kiev. It's only 300 calories and it's big and looks amazing and I'm salivating thinking about it. So a big, BIG salad with ham and a chickie kiev on the side.

I also got some sweet chilli hummus and rice cakes in case I get a sweet tooth later. And my fave - little pickled baby beetroots and some cornichons for snacks over the weekend.

oh and I also bought some massive corn on the cobs which I love steamed, with a smidge of butter on.

Can you tell I'm starving and I've not eaten yet!?

CheeeseOnToast · 16/04/2010 19:27

PS I dislike the shoes. I can't really handle heels and clogs as a rule I just can't do.

I saw some absolutely gorgeous sandals this morning on the tube, let me see if I can uncover them from the depths of the interweb and show you lovely ladies...

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 16/04/2010 19:28

FGS woman - what about portion control!
