My total weight loss in two weeks is 4.5lbs. I feel so pleased with myself only about 28 more pounds to go.

Mummyvicky · 08/09/2005 14:54

Thats Brilliant ark ! Well done

misstimms · 08/09/2005 21:12

Hello everyone, following the 1st week of NC I've lost a total of 5lbs! Which is amazing, as all I seem to do is eat! Obviously feeling very keen and motivated ( and proud. ) A big well done to all you girls as well - it's sooo nice hearing how well everyone is doing. Dior - have you sorted out your DH yet? Do you think (in a horribly insensitive way) he was trying to be supportive ??? Hope everything is ok.

ark · 09/09/2005 09:47

misstimms well done! I think I should really give no count another go see how I get on!

dinny · 09/09/2005 10:02

Hi, everyone. Can I join this thread? I started WW No Count last week and had my first weigh-in on Tuesday and, like Misstimms, lost 5lb! Am amazed as really didn't feel hungry!

Mummyvicky · 09/09/2005 10:16

Wow, Im thinking maybe next week I should switch to no count !!! A big well done !

dinny · 09/09/2005 10:16

thank you - it's been really great, tbh (so far!) so easy and I really haven't felt hungry.

PeachyClair · 09/09/2005 11:36

4lbs last week , so i am 1.5 lbs away from my 10 per cent. Leader says I can stop any time I want now, but I want to lose another 7.5 lbs as then i'll be back to my pre-kids weight.

Dh took me out to Cardiff after my weigh in. i tried on a skirt and he persuaded me to try on a mini one in the same size I was when we met (14, I have big hips that never shrunk below that even when I was a medically underweight teenager after being ill!) it fit AND looked good, and I burst into tears in the shop!!!!!!!! I din't buy it, but I will buy a short skirt I rhink- although at 32 I am probably afr too old!

Meggymoo, expect mine will slow down by the next weigh-inh...though have surprised myself with how well am sticking to it!

linnywith2 · 09/09/2005 22:14

Hi everyone..
My god what excellent losses you've all had!
BIG well done to you all..
ark, 1.5 lbs thats brilliant, well done!
lost 1 lb myself this week..
my goal atm is 10st so im 3.5 lbs off target now
id really really love to get to 9-7
my ideal weight for height is 8-11 - 10-6 so 9-7 wud be somewhere in the middle
atm am concentrating on getting to 10st and thats so hard i dont know if i could keep going to 9-7 but i'll see how it goes.. maybe by xmas?!!

Dior.. have you come across anyone in your classes who have to take steroids?
my friend who joined with me back in april has been diagnosed with arthritis in both knees and was put on steroids 5 weeks ago.. she's gained 1.5lbs each week since and has put back on 6lbs of the stone she'd lost..
she's getting really fed up now but without the steroids she's in agony.. any advice?

catsmother · 09/09/2005 22:14

Meggymoo - I have 3.5 stones to lose too. On NoCount, I have already lost 24.5lbs in 7 weeks so it's well worth trying. (Only just realised I am exactly half way there !)

misstimms · 10/09/2005 10:25

CM - you must feel so proud of yourself Do you think that NC has changed the way you look at food and eat, or do you think that once the weight has gone you might slip back into bad eating habits?
Also does any one know if I can have no added sugar Alpen for breakfast as I now HATE Special K!!!

Oh, Misstimms, I have been having Alpen No Added Sugar on NoCount (as it just says cereal with not added sugar). A friend who lost 2.5 stone on NC recently also has it every morning, so that's good enough reason for me!

ps just really splurged on pizza with the children and dh for tea. may just ignore it - it's too huge an amount and will use up all my alcohol points! will do an hour's swim tomorrow to make up for it....

pjsmum · 10/09/2005 19:36

Well done all of you. I've put on 3lbs whilst away. was quite chuffed as i thought it would be at least 1/2 stone! Been thinking about trying the No Count, might do haviing read all your successes. well done, keep it up

So how many points do you think that pizza was then? Only asking coz DH took me to pizza express last week and bought me a Veniziana (sp), and I've just assumed that I have used all my weeks points in one go!

Dior, I reckon the raisins in the Alpen is a no-no? Raisins aren't no count. The only week I gained I was on fruit and fibre, coz DH bought the wrong cereal.

Oh well it was worth a try! Thanks for the investigations. Bit of a bad day today, as have wanted to eat anything remotely bad (or non no count)..did resist however. As for pizza express, I think their whole pizzas are around 12-14 pts each. However, I am a firm believer in not counting the bad days (as long as there aren't too many )and not beating yourself up.
