My total weight loss in two weeks is 4.5lbs. I feel so pleased with myself only about 28 more pounds to go.

mmmmm should I reward myself with a chocci biscuit?? or should I stick with the ww fruitie sweets???????????

Thanks, Dior. You're right, that is the good thing about Full Count. Tonight for dinner, my husband served me with far too much rice and I only had half of it, instead of scoffing the lot. He is supportive in my weight loss - only buying healthy stuff at the supermarket, looking after the baby at certain times so I can exercise etc - but serves big portions! I need to get out of the habit of eating quite a bit less than him.

PC, how frustrating to be so near to goal, but 3.5lbs is a fantastic weight loss for your penultimate week. I'm motivated by you and Linny and anyone else who is near goal.

TaiTai · 05/10/2005 00:35

Er, that should be "get into the habit" of eating less than my husband Otherwise, I will have big problems...

Had weigh-in Monday night and stayed the same cannot believe it Did loads of exercise and kept to my points rigidly. Am gutted, but determined that stupid scales isn't gonna get the better of me two weeks in a row.
Been a bit manic over past few days as DS is just getting over gastroenteritis - poor luv and I've still been trying to do a heap of walking in the evenings.

Linny - which part of our fair isle do you hail from? How long have you lived over here? Had a smile at being called a "bird" been too long since I've been home if that makes me nostalgic

linnywith2 · 08/10/2005 14:42

Dublindee- am from co tipp, and have lived there all my life, and will prob most definetly die here! dont worry about maintaining this week, it will definetly show next week,, hang in there bird.. have had those kinda weeks myself along the way and know only too well how frustrating it is.
Dior.. bottom of my range is 8-11, am now 9-12 so can well afford another few pounds off..
had 1 lb down this week so another 5 to go to my next "goal" even though im now a gold member, want to go a little further.
well done all on loss this week..

Tai tai.. thats the first time anyone's ever told me i inspire them.. makes me feel all fluffy on the inside!!

you may inspire me to go back!

a lovely MNer sent me a points book from the UK. She didn't put a return address on the package but it was postmarked GU 11. Whoever you are, thank you!

mears · 09/10/2005 21:21

I rejoined 2 weeks ago but didn't even manage to read the books. Lost 1/2lb (natural fluctuation).

Decided to try harder this week. Have done well but still not read the books. Can't get myself motivated to read them - a bad sign isn't it.

I am a gold member and have just been doing it from memory really. Could be reading it now instead of sitting on here...

I can't face my ww leader. I feel I've let her down.

Well, me of course but the last time she saw me, I was far too sansouci-ish... you know, "no problems, totally on top of things, almost there", etc.

Hello,

I lost two pounds in the past week so I've lost 9lbs in total. I'm very pleased that I'm finally losing weight. I cut out junk food and increased exercise (mainly walking) when I was breastfeeding, but nothing happened.

I'd be grateful if someone could help me out with a question. I had a home-cooked roast dinner yesterday and would like to know what the point value is for roast potatos, say 100g. I guessed there would be 1tbsp oil on the potatos, but it is difficult to determine by how much oil you put in the roasting tin as obviously not all of it gets absorbed by the potatos. Also, the book says 1.5 pts per 35g roast beef, and yet a sirloin steak of 225g is 5pts. This doesn't make sense, as the rib beef I had yesterday was as lean as a piece of lean sirloin and it wasn't roasted in any oil.

PS: For those of you tempted to write that the easiest solution is to cut out the roasts - that ain't gonna happen I'm afraid!

TaiTai · 10/10/2005 12:19

Oh and allhallows,

It's commendable you feel you've let your WW leader down and don't want to face her because of this. BUT remember you are paying her to attend! She'll be pleased to see you back because I'm sure she cares but also she'll be pleased to see your money. It is a business afterall and you are a paying customer.

Is there such a thing as no count chicken curry? Anyone got a recipe my esource subscription has run out!

TaiTai · 12/10/2005 22:25

How do you more experienced members cope with PMS cravings? I have a really massive craving for some chocolate! I know that if I have some, however, I will want loads more. I have not been a good little WW today and I don't want to spiral out of control...
