Hi Dior, i do have the shopping guide. What if there is something in the shop that isn't listed in the guide? Should i just keep to whats ticked on the list? All it was is smoked haddock soup and a sweet potato soup, both tinned. any ideas?would these be no count?

pjsmum · 27/09/2005 20:17

They sound grim! Ha ha

dublindee · 27/09/2005 22:57

Hi pjsmum sweet potato is a no count food to begin with so just check the ingredients list and see if there is any cream in it. If not then I'd say you're in the clear. As for the haddock, no idea. Dior can prob help.

Am super motivated this week had my first weigh-in last night and lost 5lbs!!!! If I get another 2 off by next week that's my first silver seven already. I'm really hoping to have the guts of a stone off for my friend's wedding in Rome on 15th of October as I'll be ahead of my target enough to enjoy myself in Rome but not go too wild food-wise. Any ideas on what choices I can make over there? Luckily I don't like carbonara or anything really creamy ....

TaiTai · 27/09/2005 23:48

Hello

Can I join, please? Would be great to have some support. I'm doing WW by myself. Start last week and lost three pounds in the first week. I'd lost four pounds the month before by make a few changes. Got four and a half more stone to go, which is rather depressing.

Is it unrealistic to expect to lose two pounds every week for 33 weeks?!

PeachyClair · 28/09/2005 11:39

Dior...

Can I ask your honest opinion please?

My Leader has asked me to consider being a Leader myself. She ran through it all and it sounds great, but I wouldn't mind your honest appraisal of pros and cons?

Still got 3.5 pounds to lose - just can't get motivated now, last bit seems so irrelevant! My clothes ift, i look OK, but giving it a last energy boost this week...

PeachyClair · 28/09/2005 11:40

pj's mum, they're NC if they don't have cream according to the handbook- it hust says any soup, avoid the creamy varieties. HTH!

Hi everyone hope you dont mind me crashing this thread to ask if anyone knows how many points in a sandwich wrap

Mummyvicky · 29/09/2005 13:27

Errr could be anything!!! What was in it?, and if poss what are the calories & saturated fat ?

dizzydo · 29/09/2005 13:44

oops Vickysmum sorry not very clear.

It was just a single sandwich wrap I grabbed from a pack of them from home this morning just stuffed it with a bag of salad leaves, no butter. So literally just need the points for one unadorned wrap IYSWIM. Thanks

dizzydo · 29/09/2005 13:45

Hi im a weight watchers member doing the full count option and I got a bit peckish the other moning. Does anyone happen to know how much 1 bag of burger king breakfast hash browns are? RThank you, Bex

TaiTai · 29/09/2005 22:36

I haven't followed the plan today or yesterday. My husband is away on business, the baby and I both have colds and I felt I needed to treat myself with food. Now I need to take myself firmly in hand and get back to it. I have a 'what's the point, I'll never do it, it'll take ages' attitude at the moment. Anyone else flet like this?

fifilala · 30/09/2005 18:39

can someone help me get my motivation back please.........Put 2 on this week so weight loss is only 9.5 pounds after 11 weeks (or is it now 12)

Doing no count and starting to struggle. Found it easy at first but am starting to have cravings!!! Always fail with points as I can't be bothered to count. I Love salads and everything but have really lost the urge. Felt thin this morning as I have stuck at it since weigh in on weds but have just polished off 2 smartie cookies and a bag of crisps. Planning wine and chicken fajitas tonight.

Do I just go for an extra swim adn dog walk tomorrow???
Any good no count recipes anyone?????????

9 lbs is OK! You're getting there aren't you?

I notice you use words like 'fail'; perhaps you need to look at the habit audit again?

Dior - I atleast want the weight back off that I have put on, and if I could get the extra 1lb it would mean that I drop below the 12st mark for the first time in about 3 years. If I can get that I think my motivation will just flow again!!

Just looking at my diary my munches may have a reason - it could be about to be that time of the month! it always makes me feel yeuch and fat! I suppose I am not looking at a crash weight loss as my goal is by next May (Going to Mexico for 2 weeks) and would like to not necessarily be a specific weight but a comfortable size 12 bottom and max 16 top (currently a tight 16 bottom and an 18 top) I have relatively skinny legs and arms and the weight is all carried around my middle.

I guess it needs to be back to the Salads - did well in my first few weeks using a lot of salmon and things like crabsticks. I may aswell enjoy tonight and start a fresh in the morning!

how about a seafood curry? You can make a nc one easily- much more appetizing than a salad
