I am confused with all these numbers.
I was a size 10-12 when I left the UK. 15 years and 2 kids later, I am a size 10-12. If you want proof that sizes have got bigger in the UK, look no further.
I just want to get into my clothes (French size 38, more reliable )without them being tight and without muffinage or back hamsters. And I have become too accustomed to eating huge portions and to snacking on sugary crap; have in fact become addicted to sugar and need it during various witching hours (10.30am, 2pm, 5pm and even 8pm when kids go to bed at last)
I am 5'5.
I gave DS1 his sausage casserole thingy for supper, with pasta. I ate the sauce part (onion, garlic, tomatoes and red lentils) with some steamed courgettes. (Oh, and an eggcupful of grated parmesan, probably 95 points or summat).
DS1 was intrigued, and asked if I preferred courgette or sausage. White lies were told.
Is the sauce allowed? Why are some of you mainlining lentils in soup form and someone else is repenting of having eaten lentils? I am lost amidst all these points and calories...I was of the naive opinion that if it was healthy and had no lashings of butter, cream, sugar or fat, then it was OK.
Now I am not allowed bread.
I agree that feeding kids is a slippery slope.
