Much more succinct.

Need to think like a succinct person

MamaGoblin · 23/03/2010 19:30

Cyb - but she doesn't have any arms! Not sure I'd want to go that far in interests of weight loss.

Actually, I had my eyebrows threaded today, so I must have lost something, however tiny.

bobbiewickham · 23/03/2010 19:31

I cried when I was threaded.

Never known pain like it.

HumphreyCobbler · 23/03/2010 19:33

It isn't that bad is it?

I am going next week

bobbiewickham · 23/03/2010 19:36

I'm extremely cowardly sensitive.

Cry when taking off a plaster, and make a big girly fuss when getting into swimming pool colder than the average bath.

You'll be fine. And the results were fab.

MamaGoblin · 23/03/2010 19:36

It was ok. I had to keep the yelps down - DS was asleep in his buggy next to me!

(V quick - took under a minute per brow. Never had it done before and I am SO impressed with result.)

HumphreyCobbler · 23/03/2010 19:39

Ok.

Will be good to lose the scary beetle look.

They say it is like a cheap face lift, getting your brows done properly.

bobbiewickham · 23/03/2010 19:40

Brows were fine.

I had my entire face done. Felt like a yeti. She kept finding hairy bits I didn't know existed.

Worst bit was the bit between lower lip and chin.

MamaGoblin · 23/03/2010 19:41

Humphrey - that's actually what I thought when I blinked the tears away looked in the mirror when she'd finished. I am crap at tweezing my eyebrows. It took me this long to get someone else to do it for me!

bobbiewickham · 23/03/2010 19:42

God, it was humiliating.

In the middle of Fenwick. People buying handbags craning their necks to see the amazing hairy yeti woman.

She kept making me participate. I had to pull my skin tight, and put my tongue in front of my bottom teeth to puff my chin out like that horrible thing kids do when they're saying "durr".

It was the most embarrassing 15 minutes of my life.

HumphreyCobbler · 23/03/2010 19:51

I could do with a whole face thing.

I have spent my whole life congratulating myself on having hairless arms and legs - only to find that it all started growing on my chin when I hit thirty.

Glad it makes such a difference, it will be my first time getting someone else to do it.

cyb · 23/03/2010 19:58

Does your face look fab though now bobbie? More refined? I have more 'down' on my face now I am nudging 40 and thought it might make me look...well less fuzzy really, sharper

bobbiewickham · 23/03/2010 20:00

That's it exactly, Cyb!

Look younger - it's around the jawline.

Cleaner.

Need to go again.

SuSylvester · 23/03/2010 20:08

I stuck to plan. Except that I finished off DS1's madeleine at tea time. It's Proustian, dontcha know, you can't go chucking a half-eaten madeleine in the bin, fgs.

And I have been scoffing almonds at a terrifying rate. Is that allowed? They must be fattening.
I await the wrath of Su.

Have done exercises.

My tummy is flatter and I think my hamsters are shrinking.

But I weighed myself this morning and had put on 300g.
Is it because muscle is heavier??

cyb · 23/03/2010 20:15

RIGHT am getting face and brows trheaded before 40th.

SuSylvester · 23/03/2010 20:17

i am not very hairy.

i am gutted htat NO ONE noticed my cat in a lift link or my women in air balloon and NO ONE guffawed.

Auld - easy on the almonds

OP posts:
largeginandtonic · 23/03/2010 20:17

Good plan. Complete hair removal for Friday weigh in. Wee and poo.No breakfast. Leave deoderant and mosituriser application till after too.

What else can i take off, empty?

I am going to visualise myself thin.

Am eating salmon and stir fried veg.

Well done to all those losing.

Am watching supersize superskinny. Must keep motivated.

Am so tired.

SuSylvester · 23/03/2010 20:17

22 almonds are FOUR points ( out of a total daily of 18!_

OP posts:
cyb · 23/03/2010 20:17

300g? Wow your scales are accurate. I stilll havnt weighted myself once yet, forget to sneak into medical room to do it at work

AuldAlliance · 23/03/2010 20:19

yes, Su.

I liked the girl floating, but youtube keeps jamming on my laptop, so I got a bit frustrated. Missed the cat in the lift.

I have been wondering about salon eyebrow maintenance and then dismissing it as I am a bit skint.
Will it transform me, then?
