bobbiewickham · 22/03/2010 14:55

Right, is this a better day?

Porridge for breakfast.
A run.
Large bowl of veg and lentil soup for lunch.
Planning on pasta with rocket, pine nuts, olive oil and a soupcon of parmesan for dinner.

Is that better? Is it?

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 22/03/2010 14:59

Rightyo - dilema -

Ordered 4 pairs of indigo jeans from m&s last week in the sale (£12 - barginous)

Dark blue 12 & 14
Black 12 & 14

The idea was to send the 14's back as they would be too big... this is not the case

I have dark jeans that fit just now but not black - do I keep 12's in the hope that they will fit soon (about 1 inch off fastening), or do I keep 14's to wear now, knowing that in 6 weeks they will be too big hopefully please

SuSylvester · 22/03/2010 15:01

we dont buy fat clothes
send em back lady.

GOD I am channelling fabio.

OP posts:
BariatricObama · 22/03/2010 15:01

geordie, if you are truly in teh zone keep the 12's other wise don't.

i did this at a boden sale last year. i have trews and skirt that ihave NEVER worn but hopefully i will rectify that this year.

OliviaMumsnet · 22/03/2010 15:03

Hello
Understand this is susylvesters weightloss boot camp and there is nothing vaguely pro-anorexic about it (It's way too hardcore for me, my dairymilk dependency and love of toasted cheese sandwiches. I digress)
Since this is all going zen and happy now, would you mind if we change the title to "WILL IT MAKE YOU HAPPY?"

Or happy to take suggestions for alternatives but we've had q a few complaints and not sure it's right to leave it up there.
Thanks
M Towers

BariatricObama · 22/03/2010 15:04

oh purlease!!!!!!!

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 22/03/2010 15:05

bobbiewickham · 22/03/2010 15:06

Are we in trouble?

geordieminx · 22/03/2010 15:07

Your'e shitting me right?

Complaints?

Bet no one would own up to complaining

CheeeseOnToast · 22/03/2010 15:07

oh dear

SuSylvester · 22/03/2010 15:10

no i refuse to change

  1. i never knew it was pro anorexic
  2. there are loads far qworse thread titles
  3. no
OP posts:
BariatricObama · 22/03/2010 15:11

why not call it 'fuckity fat slags' that sort of title seems fine

noddyholder · 22/03/2010 15:13

su are you still a legal eagle if so can i ask you q or have a look at my thread re house sale and neighbours do you know anything about this stuff before i go nuts xx

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 22/03/2010 15:13

Olivia - God I hate having to be serious I'm on blardy maternity leave FGS.

The thread title is not in it itself offensive or wrong. I believe that some pro anorexia websites picked up on something Kate Moss said which was "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels". Skinny is not the same as being slim.

The thread title does not encourage people to undereat and if you read the thread that is clearly not what is going on here.

bobbiewickham · 22/03/2010 15:14

What about..."MY FUCKWIT DH MADE ME A DELICIOUS TEA THAT IS FATTENING, AM I BEING UNREASONABLE TO WANT TO RIP HIS TWATTING HEAD OFF?"

That sort of thing never seems to offend anyone...
