BariatricObama · 22/03/2010 08:24

su i am loving the 'will it make me happy' thing.

MamaGoblin · 22/03/2010 09:16

Is this a click yet or can anyone join?

I want to lose a fair bit before I get pregnant again. DS is 2 now and have not really shifted the baby fat. Think bf made me hoard fat, not shed it. Was on WW (lost 7 lb) until a few weeks ago, then launched myself off the wagon in the direction of cakes and ale. Scary how fast all the crappy eating comes back.

Am 5'2" shortarse, so ideal BMI is frankly so depressing, am not seriously aiming at that, but would be nice to get down to 10 stone (am probably close on 11 again at the mo). Need to be shouted at on a more than weekly basis (not that WW leader shouts, she just looks disappointed). This thread seems to be adequately shouty.

(oh, and I'm not going to be starving self, I know it's important to eat sensibly if ttc, but this prob shouldn't include glasses of wine, cake, pizza and jelly belly beans. Should it?)

YoginiBikini · 22/03/2010 09:33

I feel fab today! Can't wait to get going, new week and all that. I must be with you MamaG, in the zone. Feels good!

Breakfast omelette with tons of parsley

Lunch couscous salad

Dinner Lemon coriander chicken curry

Will it make me happy? Too right!

Loving the wake and shake Su. I'm going to start doing wake and shake at school with mate. She reckons everyone will sneer and hate us but how can you resist the the birdie song so early in the morning? Teachers seem to be having a whale of a time. May have to hide from dc though.

Oh ducks have gone on a girlfriend hunt again

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 22/03/2010 09:35

wake and shake?

Themasterandmargaritas · 22/03/2010 09:43

Boy don't you all look good this morning.

Such positive energy here it's like stepping into Glee Club.

I ran for 15k this morning and it felt good.

I'm taking my bag of plums to school swimming gala and I will resist the school cake.

Talk me through the lemon and coriander chicken curry Yogi, mine is normally made with double cream which is obviously not going to make me happy.

MamaG · 22/03/2010 09:49

If there is group hugging going on, i'm orf

bobbiewickham · 22/03/2010 10:05

I went on a run!

It hurt!

But I went!!

Am starving now though. Bah.

YoginiBikini · 22/03/2010 10:06

15k run this morning?

CheeeseOnToast · 22/03/2010 11:04

Wow TheMaster - 15k run!?

I've just had some porridge think I'll go for a run a bit later this morning, to give it time to digest so i don't get cramps. How long should I leave it - two hours?

Going to Wagamamas tonight for dinner, can't get out of it, does anyone know what the lowest cal thing on their menu is? Their website is spectacularly unhelpful. I adore their seafood ramen, hopefully thats not too bad?

Loving the positive vibe on the thread this morning. If we all keep this up we'll be skinnie minnies before you know it.

moodlum · 22/03/2010 11:08

I found it. was foxed for a minute but that's just my high temperature y'know. Am so ill with tonsilitis (thanks ds) but have eaten nothing except strawberry ice cream for two days.

jenduff · 22/03/2010 11:09

brek: 2 hard boiled eggs and a yog
lunch: (nice) ham salad
dinner: shepherds pie made with mashed cauliflower instead of potato

Need to loose inches off midriff to wear LBD on sat night

CheeeseOnToast · 22/03/2010 11:24

Ooooh jenduff - sheps pie with cauliflower!? That's inspired! How does it taste? Is it edible? I adore cauliflower but those I share my table with are not quite so keen.

BariatricObama · 22/03/2010 11:27

cauliflower!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is jsut mad. i have done it with turnip pre-dd which is good but cauliflower?

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 22/03/2010 11:44

apparently cauli mash is nice, but i haven't tried it and it does sound bogging.

can i just say that i have lost near enough a pound a day since starting this diet, and that includes two meals out, one with wine? i am beginning to think that this calorie thing is a load of rubbish.

BariatricObama · 22/03/2010 11:45

lesinge - that is amazing.

did you ever solve your camping/roofbox/caravan/etcetc conundrum?

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 22/03/2010 11:46

i just decided not to think about it as the season was ending. will obsess from april i think...

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 22/03/2010 11:48

oh and i think i have found where zoe harcombe ripped off researched her theory...

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 22/03/2010 11:51

Welcome Mama Goblin - we're not a click - Su won't let us become one.

Good going Bobbie and the Master! My exercise hurt too - I just keep thinking - toned abs, pert bum and no bingo wings - repeat at regular intervals. Bobbie can't be bad gal anymore though with all that exercise and Mooders hasn't eaten anything for days so I might have to step into the breach..

Tried this dress on today - previously had severe back hamsters (more akin to guinea pigs) and was very snug (ahem - couldn't do it up). Now - back hamsters are banished and I CAN DO IT UP!

AND one of DS1's teachers said "ooh it's dropping off you isn't it". See it's working!

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 22/03/2010 11:54

cleak. it's cleak.

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 22/03/2010 11:55

Le Singe - don't you know nuffink - it's french innit - it's cleek.

BariatricObama · 22/03/2010 11:57

le singe - you won't need a roofbox. you will be so wee they can pop you in the glove box

MamaGoblin · 22/03/2010 12:20

Le cleak?

Sorry, went out to tumble tots. DS keeping fit, me not so much.

Still, all that's passed my lips today is some Special K with red fruit. (I have to use the box up before getting back on the bran flakes...) Having a Veg Pot (reduced in Waitrose) for lunch - mushroom risotto, only 260 cal! What do they do to a risotto that it's only 260 calories?

BariatricObama · 22/03/2010 12:21

what do they do to the risotto? they give you half a s much!

glasjam · 22/03/2010 12:23

Wow a pound a day - that's impressive.

Can't imagine cauliflower mash - doesn't it go all watery?

And MamaG - did you say something shit had happened? Hope not too shit.

Am about to click on the wake and shake - am in the kitchen at moment watching DD shovelling in tomato soup (Heinz I'm afraid but I've given up trying to make tomato soup it never meets with approval!)

Am impressed that so many people are running. I might contemplate that when I lose a bit more weight (thinking about the old knees and the G-Force on the facial muscles!)

I've had some multigrain cereal and skim milk
A pitta (ww 1.5 pts) spinach tomato and a slice of crap ham and am now eating the yellow pepper that my DD refused to eat.

CheeseonToast - I went to Wagamama the other day and thought I was being good ordering up a Yasai Yaki Soba cos it's done on the griddle and it was 12 points! I am going to be really boring and cut and paste a listing I found on the WW site - hope you others don't mind! I did have an Eating Out guide with it in but it isn't in the latest one.

cauli mash is ok - although the rest of the family refuse to eat it so I just do a separate one for me and do theirs with potato and smother mine with cheese to mask the taste.

I need to know what back hamsters are - is it the same as love handles or something else that I need to stress about
