I'm 5'9, and currently weigh 13 st 3lb. Would like to be down to 11st

OurLadyOfPerpetualSupper · 12/01/2010 13:47

5ft 7in, 9st 10lb, have lost a stone and a half over last 2 years, would like to be about 9st 4lb I think - although planning to build more muscle to counter-act ageing saggy flesh, so might end up heavier!

bargainhuntingbetty · 12/01/2010 13:48

I am way too heavy and way too short. Need to lose about 4 stone to be my ideal weight but it doesnt shift due to PCOS and the Coil. Have lost 1lb 6oz since the beginning of Nov

I'm 5.4" with a small frame. I think I'm around 9st 4lbs. I think I look best when I'm around 8st 7lbs. (which I hope to be soon!)

OrmIrian · 12/01/2010 14:39

I'm 5'11" and currently 11stone ahem (I honestly don't know as I don't own scales but I am guessing about 11stone 6). Large build. I lost some a few summers ago and got down to 10s 5 and liked it but started to get 'ooh you need to put on weight comments' According to various diet websites my 'ideal weight' is 9s 7. I think I would be dead at that weight.

HarrogateMum · 12/01/2010 15:34

5 foot 10 and a bit, 10 stone 6, slim build on top, hippy build below!

mrswill · 12/01/2010 15:57

Am 5ft 2inches with a small frame, and 10lb 4lb. Aiming for 8st 10lb, but would be happy with 9 stone, as I am a size 8 at that weight with big ish boobs!

Strange how people are different sizes at different weights. My friend who is short like me, is size 8-10 at 10st, she is very toned as well. According to BMI, I would be a suitable weight at 8st, I dread to think what I would look like!

BrigitBigKnickers · 12/01/2010 16:06

5ft5in

13 and a half stone.

Medium build.

For a healthy BMI I need to be just under 11 stone. So need to lose 2 and a half stone but really would like to be three stone lighter.

Problem is I am crap at sticking to diets and am always hungry.

twittertotter · 12/01/2010 16:15

5ft 7
14 stone 11 lb, #
BMI 32

big boned?

was 10s 7lb before baby - for over 4 stone to shift!

wear a size 14/16

Floopy21 · 12/01/2010 16:19

I don't think weight is that good an indicator, I have a friend who is much skinner than me & yet she weighs more (roughly the same height). Can bones / internal organ weight differ between people?!

havoc · 12/01/2010 16:24

5ft 7
12 stone something

I need to grow 5 inched to be a health weight.

poshtottie · 12/01/2010 16:25

I'm 5ft 7 and around 9st 5. Ideally would like to be under 9st.

TheEarthIsFlat · 12/01/2010 16:28

5ft 5, arount 8 stone 10 lb. This is the right weight for me, but I am still flabby, so need to exercise rather than lose weight. Have a thin face and a fat bottom so from the front look slim, but from behind look chubby.

Get quite cross at famous people in magazines who claim to be a size 10/12 but are 2 stone heavier than me.

shushpenfold · 12/01/2010 16:28

Orm - your ideal weight cannot be 9st 7 - are you sure that was not 'weight at which you are classed as underweight at'? I'm 5 10 and weigh 10st 6. I vary between 10 and 10 1/2 (have done for 25 yrs) but when I had to go on a horrid 'elimination diet' last yr, I dropped to 9st 5, which was approaching the 'underweight' category on the BMI.

shushpenfold · 12/01/2010 16:29

Oh sorry, forgot the rest - happiest at 10st. Slim build, narrow hips, column shape....not much of a waist to mention!

mowcop · 12/01/2010 16:33

I am 5 10 and weigh 11 stone 3, my bmi is 22.3. Which is about right, the lightest I have been is 9st 4, but I looked very boney and got a lot of "your too thin" type comments. I am quite broad of shoulder and hip though. Could never get my shoulders in a size 8 top!

mowcop · 12/01/2010 16:35

Oh, am happy being size 10-12, but would like to tone up (without actually doing anything.)

Bettymum · 12/01/2010 16:36

5'6", 8 stone when not 6 months pregnant .
I always come up as underweight on charts but I'm not unhealthily thin (and I'm not in denial either ). Just very light. I used to cycle a lot and went to under 8 stones, lost my boobs, and looked thin. Not nice.

mathanxiety · 12/01/2010 16:50

5 6 and 9 stone 3, bmi is 21ish. I definitely don't look bony. About 1 stone of my weight is in two places where it doesn't belong.

I have a slight build, hips and shoulders/boobs about the same dimensions, legs tend to be skinny, and am happier about 10 pounds lighter because of where the weight tends to be distributed. This can be remedied by exercise and laying off things I have no business eating.

ebayaddict · 12/01/2010 17:34

5ft9 currently 13stone.

I'm happy at 12 stone which puts me in size 12 clothes at at bmi 24.9 so just about OK range. I have a large build with wide shoulders and size 9 feet which is probably why I'm happy to stick at size 12 clothes rather than attempt to get into 10s.

When I drop down to 11 1/2 st I start to look ill and it's just not sustainable for me to keep it off.

MABS · 12/01/2010 18:16

am 5ft 8 and 9 stone 13, hate it, trying to drop the 13 lbs and get back to the 9stone exactly ideal weight for me that i was at Christmas last year .
