Hiya,

Am starting Monday, I have not weighed myself yet and think I probably need to loose close to 3 stone but am aiming for 2 by end of March.

Will weigh myself in here on Monday and update each Monday after.
Anyone want to join me?

Have name changed again. I am GettinTrimmer atm, was ABitOfPizzazz.

runforit - Are you training for a race? I am impressed with your running, I would like to start again.

MoreThan - That is a great weight loss, congrats!!

Dis - I feel the same about tomorrow, but I feel better so I am sure we will have good news.

Good luck all for tomorrow.

Eddas · 10/01/2010 12:14

MORNING!

well done morethan fab!

Dh's weigh in day is today, last week he weighed himself in the evening, but he is 8lbs lighter some of that will be down to weighing at different times but wow!!

I just walked a mile or two to get a paper, walking in snow is hard work! Must've burnt of some calories surely?

We had chicken fajitas last night which were scrummy, we both really enjoyed them. Then afterwards we hard butterscotch angel delight OMG it's never tasted so nice

phase when I woke up this morning and looked out of my window the blackbird was searching for some food again so I put some bread and left over christmas cake out and the birds were flocking down for it! Lovely to watch Hope I helped some birds survive

right, off to have lunch, beans on toast mmmmm

GettinTrimmer · 10/01/2010 12:28

I also meant to ask ages ago if anybody else is veggie?

I am having more chickpeas and beans, they are nice and low in fat. A little wind inducing though

Kayzr · 10/01/2010 13:11

I am sure I have put weight on. I just feel heavier for some reason. But I now have a proper reason to lose weight. We are going to Butlins in April for a few nights. It will be our first holiday as a family so I need to look a little bit good in swimsuit so I can take the boys swimming.

Right of for a play on the Wii.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2010 13:27

kayzr - sure you havent put weight on

its the first week and our poor starved bodies are being deprived off food/chhese/booze etc

but if you have put weight on, then its not the end of the world - dont let this disheartened you

but bet you that you do lose x

PhaseolusLunatus · 10/01/2010 14:41

Hello everyone

Eddas and Blondes, and everyone putting food out for the birds, thank you [embarrassed on behalf of the ingrates at Blonde's emoticon] Thanks for helping to keep the other threads in active convos, too

Jodie - so sorry to hear about your arm

runforit - glad to hear you are not flagellating yourself

Kayzr - what Blondes says.

MrsMorgan - don't lose heart; tomorrow you might be surprised.

GettinTrimmer - I am not veggie (lapsed), but eat veggie a lot of the time. You have reminded me that a salad made with couscous and chickpeas might be a good strategy.

Well done on all the losses, and good luck to all fellow Monday-weighers!

Kayzr · 10/01/2010 14:57

I have just done half an hour on the Wii Fit and I am exhausted!!!

But it weighs me in at 14st 11lb which is 4lb lighter.

compo · 10/01/2010 15:02

Does antyone know if ww wine is any good? I am missing wine, lol

Kayzr · 10/01/2010 15:13

Compo Don't do it!!!! WW wine is revolting!!

bebejones · 10/01/2010 15:38

Have not used the Wii at all today or done DVD as DH has hogged TV all day watching any sport that's going! Think is feeling a bit deprived after all this snow disrupting football etc!

I feel certain I must have gained weight I feel so bloated. I have been so good all week food wise it would be just my luck to have gained 4lbs!

Well done Kayzr, Jodie & morethan on weight losses.

Had porridge for breakfast today as it was cold!

Toasted bagel with low fat philly & vanilla muller light with chopped banana for lunch.

Prob jacket spud with ww beans for dinner (haven't decided yet!)

Very nervous about weighing in the morning!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2010 15:49

PhaseolusLunatus my birds are bloody ungrateful

and stay clear from ww wine - it tastes rank - better to have a spritzler with your normal wine and diet lemonade/sparkling water

compo · 10/01/2010 16:34

Really? Oh crap! I can't bear to put anything in the wine

Kayzr · 10/01/2010 16:45

Would it be terrible to buy a size 14 swimsuit for our holiday in April?

Just as incentive?

GettinTrimmer · 10/01/2010 17:05

Kayzr, I think that's a great idea.

I am thinking of buying myself something like a pair of jeans.

Eddas · 10/01/2010 17:06

compo, I think normally with things like wine you're better off having a smaller amount of what you normally have than the low fat version. For me it's chocolate, the low fat stuff just doesn't do it for me so I'm trying to avoid it, if I really feel I must have it then I'm going to try a smaller normal bar.

Kayzr, it depends what size you are atm. If you are a 16-18 then probably not, but if you're a 20+ it might not be the best idea, IMO

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2010 17:34

COMPO any wine is 7.5p per 750ml bottle

so 100ml =1p

i had 2 glass's wednesday night when i thought i was snowed in with boss's and did as 4p

kayzr - depends on what size you are now - also cozzies do strech - why not order a 16 and 14 and try them on and see how you feel in them?

Kayzr · 10/01/2010 17:54

I am a 16-18 depending on the shop. It really bugs me as I have some size 16s that fall down and some size 18s that don't do up.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2010 18:02

ikwym - shop sizes are weird - some 12's were baggy on me, when i lost 4stone, other 12's were tight/wouldnt do up and managed to get into a 10 top in one shop

i say get the cossie in 14 - holidays isnt for 4mths and sure you will fit into it

do we get to see a pic?

Kayzr · 10/01/2010 18:10

Not sure about a picture. I'm hopig that places will have the spring/summer stuff in soon.

bebejones · 10/01/2010 18:36

Kayzr - i say go for on the swimming cossie, they do stretch after all! Next have their spring/summer stuff, including swimsuits, online already so shouldn't be too far off having them in store!

Convinced I am going to either have lost nothing or put weight on 2moro. Feeling very grumpy about it! Not helped by DH calling my Mummy Pig just now!
