Here we are, thanks Cyteen for the excellent title although it's slightly false advertising on my part

well done vg and hots.. you are almost there vg and from what red has said you don't need to lose anymore ...

sazz that sounds like alot of gain for one week and all the exercise and pretty good eating so i'm hoping its just lots of water and other retention ..

well i am down a pathetic 0.6 (agree with you vg should never of started these zero point things) so still have another 6.4lbs to lose..

did my biking again this am and proud to say i have biked 50 miles this week in the comfort of my own living room

Sazz: lose 6lb
1: -0.75lb
2: -5lb and GOAL

  1. -0.75lb
4: +3.75lb VG: lose 11lb 1: -3.8lb 2: -2lb 3: -1lb 4: -1.5lb Hots: lose 10lb 1: -2.5lb 2: = 0
  1. +1lb
  2. -3.75lb
LWFH: lose 9lb 1: -1lb 2: LOTI: lose 9.6lb 1: -2lb 2: -1.8lb
  1. +1.2
  2. - 0.6
ALBS: lose 11lb 1: -2lb 2: -1lb 3: -3lb dizzy: lose 6lb 1: = 2: +1
QueenofDreams · 26/02/2010 15:41

hey ladies.
I haven't weighed in today, as I only weighed on wednesday, so think it's silly to weigh again today (I won't have lost anything yet)
Today I've been good on the food front so far,
I have also done about 40 minutes walking (with S in his buggy) and done some dancing on the wii - definitely raised body temp with that one and it was fun. Although I think some embarrassing pictures may surface on fb
So with those two included, I've managed three exercise sessions this week.

VintageGardenia · 26/02/2010 20:33

That seems a very unfair uppage Sazz if it's disproportionate to sins committed. I have to confess I have not done one single exerSazz this week, I just haven't had time apart from a couple of dog walks and that sort of thing. Next week have to have to have to get back on track, I think after my run I sort of breathed out and mentally sat on the sofa - for two weeks .

loti at least it's down, I am only doing whole numbers or .5s in future and I am rounding down rather than up to be 100 per cent tough on self. Well done on biking brilliance!

Good news on exercise front for you too QOD as you'd been dubious about getting enough in.

Sazz - technically I could go to phase 2 of diet and allow a few extra foods but I am so glad that after months of nothing really happening I am finally having consistent losses (if four weeks is an acceptable sample) that I don't want to stop. However my hair which is never my finest feature, has gone to absolute shit, it's dry as an autumn leaf so I'd better investigate some vitamin supplement or something. The only thing I really hate about the diet is no fruit, I love love love fruit and there are so many goodies in it. Someone said I was nearing my goal - I am nearing my 11-week goal all right, which is GREAT, but I am nowhere near my ultimate goal which is a stone again from that, then I'll be fine. Red's compliments, by the way, are merely an indicator of what a nice person she is, rather than an accurate description of the Vintage flesh.

Have good weekends all.

cyteen · 26/02/2010 21:26

I haven't lost a thing

hotterpotter · 26/02/2010 22:18

Cyteen don't lose heart, you have done well all week and no doubt you will be rewarded with a delayed loss next week. There's a lesson though, never eat anything a M&S meal deal the night before a weigh in ooh actually just remembered you didn't get weighed first thing, well then no wonder you didn't appear to have lost anything. Chin up chuck and keep at it, next week will show a better return

Sazz your +3.75 is obviously a blip, unless you ate 4lb of cheese the other night....

VG and loti I am LOLing a bit at your maths shenanigans. Can you remember what you were when you started the 10-week challenge and work it out from there?

Well done Queenie on lots of ExerSazz and calorie reduction. Very sensible of you to hold off weighing this week, here's hoping for a satisfying and encouraging loss next week

VG you are doing SO well just think how good an apple / some grapes will taste in a few weeks. Sorry to hear about you hair though As a limp-haired daily washer I have no words of wisdom I'm afraid.

I am trying to be good tonight and alternating a glass of wine with a glass of water; at least the wine is lasting a bit longer than usual. Oh and did anyone spot my massive over-reporting of loss this week? Anyone who is updating the list please change my -3.75 to -1.75, ta

Bless you hots, that's very kind. In my defence I do have my period (started yesterday, hurrah ), so am actually feeling v proud of myself for not eating a hundredweight of chocolate. I haven't been a saint this week, but I have been so much better compared to other recent times; witness today's hours spent in Caffe Nero where I consumed...two small chocolates, a chai latte and a cup of tea.

A friend and I are going to a Zumba fitness class next Tuesday so that's one ExerSazz on the list.

hotterpotter · 26/02/2010 22:54

Hell's bells, not weighing in the morning and having your period it's a miracle you weren't +5!

I am up to day 21, craving carbs like nobody's business today and already imagining all sorts of symptoms

I'm not even going to list this weekend's calorie crimes. Tomorrow is a new day and all that, and there were mitigating circumstances.

ALBS well done you

cyteen, am feeling a touch meh about it all too but for my own sake have to keep going - am hoping it will be easier once the waether has improved

QueenofDreams · 28/02/2010 22:25

I have to say I've really felt the benefits of exercise today (not physically, but mentally)
forced myself to do exercise dvd, but have felt more motivated and energetic since doing it. So I cleaned the kitchen, hoovered downstairs and sorted some clothes. Not bad for me really
Hope you're ok cyteen?
Keep going dizzy!

cyteen · 01/03/2010 08:26

Yeah, I'm alright cheers Weekend wasn't that bad, not wall-to-wall chocolate consumption or anything. Just no exercise, a big serving of pud yesterday and no dinner on Saturday night (apart from several pints of ale).

argh.
after yesterday's motivation from exercise motivation, I decided to get up early today and get some exercise before S got up. Unfortunately within a minute of opening my eyes dp decided to get S up and bring him to me. I actually really annoyed, my plan to start the day with exercise has been scuppered and I'm now sitting with small child glued to me

luckoftheirish · 01/03/2010 09:17

have managed to put on the 0.6 i lost last week .. i keep ending up the same which is not good considering i still have 7lbs to lose and not sure how i am going to do it ...

have dd2 today so hoping to bike it at lunch as well as the usual walk with dd2..

well done sazz 2 sessions in a row is good...

can you try and do some exercise when ds is asleep qod..

i like liquid teas cyteen

QueenofDreams · 01/03/2010 10:08

That was the plan this morning LOTI, unfortunatley DP scuppered it for me. Granted it wasn't that early, but could still have got 20 minutes plus breakfast if DP hadn't decided to get Seb up.

hotterpotter · 01/03/2010 10:11

Well if it makes some of you feel better I am +3 today wel I am not actually shocked as there was rather a lot of cake and wine going on +3 is better than last Monday's weigh in which really was a so I'll not give up hope. Although two days of buffet lunches may scupper me yet. Luckily the conference itself is on DWP premises so the lunches are not likely to be swanky and hopefully I can gorge on fruit...
