Here we are, thanks Cyteen for the excellent title although it's slightly false advertising on my part

OK you have peer pressured me into getting on my bike tonight, good job too as going to work in the car means I have missed an hour's walking today That is my first ExerSazz since last Friday but am taking my swimming things tomorrow and also doing some more stairs in an effort to undo some of the damage.

Well +1 here but that's not too bad, and hoping most/all of it is water retention form the Wednesday toast and pizza. Got my cossie so looking forward to a swim at lunchtime.

Sazz why don't you forget the dirty floors and bribe your DH into childcare with hot sex instead

Good luck all!

Hi guys -1 here which is of course fine but tbh I was hoping for more as yesterday on my sneak peek I was down 2 and so was making rapid, excited calculations about how much was left, you know the way. Why does this fecking happen? Pah. However I do now appear to have rather solid calves and thighs of steel- not sure I really want them though. Why can't I ever have a steel stomach?

Great news from you again Sazz, attagirl, am intrigued by holey pizza of 500 cals, sounds fab!!

Hots and LOTI I'm sorry your results were as you'd feared / previewed BUT remember this is THE START OF A NEW WEEK.

Disappointing play last night, we didn't go back after the interval, something I hardly ever do . I had bream and salad, delish, and I drank vodka and soda which tastes of air and water, unsurprisingly...

Cracking news albs! Rosette for you this week

dizzydixies · 20/02/2010 20:40

well done ALBS

cyteen · 21/02/2010 18:29

Well done albs, very inspiring!

Okay, so I've been trying to change my eating habits and it is working, but now I need to step it up a gear. I am the heaviest I think I've ever been, except when growing a baby, so more needs to be done.

Not sure how the chart/challenge thingy works, but I would like to lose 21lb. At a typical steady 2lb per week this should take me almost 3 months. I will try and make a go of things with Lord Ford, as it did definitely help me last time, and will make more effort to exercise. Am also aiming to cut out bread during the week - a bold move for me, toastaholic that I am, but having avoided it more lately I have really noticed how much more crap I eat when bread is involved. Not to mention that with bread comes butter, cheese, peanut butter, cream cheese, pate etc etc etc...

So there we go. Looking at the positives, I am v pleased with how much I've cut down on snacky crap. Don't actually miss it at all.

alittlebitshy · 21/02/2010 19:18

cyten i too am cutting down on the bread. one sarnie or one round of toast is never enough. Am having some at the weekends but not a lot and where possible avoiding in the week.

really like pumpkin seed ryvitas - were delish with (low fat) cream cheese, and smoked salmon!

hotterpotter · 21/02/2010 22:48

Has been a weekend of mixed fortunes, small piece of cake today cancelled out by half an hour of Davina McCall workout / dancing around with the DC and 14 miles on the bike. Hot sex yesterday which unfortunately will not go any way towards cancelling out the half pound of Bombay Mix I ate afterwards

Cyteen and albs I agree re the evilness of bread and try to just eat four slices a week, two on Saturday and two on Sunday. 'Tis hard to ignore the lure of cold toast with butter and marmalade though...

Hi all rather annoyingly up two pounds here after doing nothing different, period not imminent and my jeans are not that heavy so pretty this morning.

Sazz hope you enjoyed your weekend, you always seem to deal well & efficiently with zapping any uppage you have so good luck with reversing those three point five.

cyteen it's an 11-week challenge with a prize at the end for anyone who reaches their goal. Sazz has already reached hers so we had to rewrite the rules saying anyone EXCEPT people who reach their goal in 2 weeks . We are all puffing after her though as she is our beacon.

Wanna play?

VintageGardenia · 22/02/2010 09:49

Re: bread I concur

oopsandbabycoconut · 22/02/2010 09:59
