Here we are, thanks Cyteen for the excellent title although it's slightly false advertising on my part

no gym today due to course but only had a baked potato for lunch (with tuna) and frankly after everything I've learned am not sure I want to eat ever again!!

however the woman DID say specifically that biscuits are safe

night shift tonight & tomorrow and early shift on Fri so I'm expecting to be all over the place by weigh in this week

luckoftheirish · 16/02/2010 20:28

Thank you Sazz and i can i say how amazing you looked too... a lean mean fighting machine and showing leg ..

hots you also looked amazing and very fit.. your cycling is obviously paying off..

after a hellish couple of hours managed to fit in 12.5k on bike in 20 minutes! pooped so early night for me

hotterpotter · 16/02/2010 22:02

Still doing alright with my eating habits although will admit to a crisp slip last night, but I was soooooooooooooooo tired. Today have had veggie Subway (low cal, apparently) and reduced fat hummus with carrot sticks for lunch.

dizzydixies · 17/02/2010 17:17

am sooooooooooooo tired, finished at 7am and am back in at 7pm so no gym for me today

luckoftheirish · 17/02/2010 17:23

dizzy rest up and hope your shift is not too tiring..

well done cyteen ..

equally shattered today due to poorly kids ad hectic day.. hoping to do another 20 mins on bike tonight before a vat of wine..

no chance of gym tomorrow either so not looking hopefully for any loss this week.. perhaps even a gain

hotterpotter · 17/02/2010 20:44

Have been very bad today

Back to work tomorrow so hopefully back on the straight and narrow...

big hugs hots and hope drive this am went ok..

well done on the run sazz and enjoy the swim today..

only manageged 10k on the bike.. had one glass of wine and early bed..

really finding that exercise is the key for me as haven't managed the gym this week yet.. hopefully dd2 will be ok to go to cm tom so will go then and dh said i sat am would be ok too..

Mantainenance this week hots .. or even a tiny gain for me but i guess we will all have good/bad weeks like this...

cannot even bear to look on lord focus... there must be something wrong

VintageGardenia · 18/02/2010 08:03

Sorry to hear of slipping motivation and struggles to get to the gym. I hear ya. I have only run once this week, however have mentioned my weekend run to everyone who came within four miles of me, and ds1 suggested it was time to take off my medal... Does talking about it count?

I ran 5K slowly yesterday and am hoping for Pilates today (half a class as creche not available till halfway through ) and that will be it really for this week. Out to dins tonight (& theatre, goody) but am keen to stick to my current way of eating, will be three weeks tomorrow no bread, rice, pasta, spud.

There's still ages to go on the 11-week challenge so if you think this hasn't been your best week, tomorrow's weigh-in also marks the start of a new week. Let's make it a cracker. I do recommend the steak au poivre diet for anyone who wants to make a quick, satisfying dent in their target... though obv am not a doctor...

OK slimmers - if you are reporting a loss / equality / gain tomorrow would you mind awfully copying and pasting the list into your post?

Sazz: lose 6lb
1: -0.75lb
2: -5lb and GOAL
VG: lose 11lb

Made it in safely, thanks for remembering loti it's doing wonders for my bingo wings all the tight gripping of the steering wheel

Have got on the scales this morning and it was Not Good. May defer tomorrow's confessional for a week to try and get back on track without the shame of admitting going up again

Hope you get a good workout at the gym today loti and enjoy your swim sazz

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 18/02/2010 09:31

Walking counts? That's good - I walk everywhere Into town from our house is a brisk 30 minutes, so I do that trip (or its opposite) at least 6 times a week, usually more. And usually more walking e.g. into town with DS to get stuff from shops, lots of walking around town, walk to soft play etc.

That explains a lot about how I've managed to avoid total fatness while eating and drinking like a pig
