Here we are, thanks Cyteen for the excellent title although it's slightly false advertising on my part

Hots if i do not use lord focus every day i do notice a difference... i think when you have to add up what you eat each day it makes you think more if you really want something iykwim?

I have walked up 8 flights of stairs four times at work today, (we are trying to climb the height of Everest for Sport Relief) and even done 25 minutes on the bike tonight while I was dyeing my hair, ooh I can multi-task

Good job because when I got home I found the fecking Chocolate Tasting Club have sent a surprise box [grrrr][delicious]

sazz I hope you have made friends with DH now

OP posts:
TwilightSurfer · 12/02/2010 22:45

Hots you have my address, right? Just go ahead and post me those chocolates. I don't mind helping you stay true to your plan. It's the least I can do for a friend.

hotterpotter · 12/02/2010 22:48

LOL TS, but sorry, no chance I have instructed DH to hide the box and ration the chocs, so far we have had a cherry butterscotch and two mini brandy truffles each so I think we are actually showing admirable restraint putting them away already

luckoftheirish · 13/02/2010 11:07

done my pilates.. still no fecking af tho horrible headache and cramping and foul mood!!! up nearly a pound but hoping that is due to af.. hots pass the chocs!

VintageGardenia · 13/02/2010 14:11

Alors!

This morning I ran my 10K race! And I didn't walk one inch of it. Feel a bit achey but vv proud. DP and DS2 and dogs on course to support, would definitely have walked if it had not been for thought that I might round a corner and they'd see me...

Nice rationing work on the chocs, hotsy! And on the mini-ascent of Everest, what a nice idea.

Sorry you're pmt-ridden loti .

hotterpotter · 13/02/2010 14:32

Fantastic work VG, you are definitely v g at this fitness lark

Funny couple of days for eating: yesterday I had that massive pub lunch but then no tea; today I had a few spoons of porridge for breakfast, some toast and peanut butter at about 10am, then brunch with friends (scrambled egg, tomatoes, peppers, beans, slice of home made bread/butter) but refused cake. For tea we had veg stir fry with noodles - I refused dessert but did just eat a delicious cheese sandwich because I was still hungry. I think (hope) what this means is I'm starting to get better at decided when I'm actually hungry and wanting to eat something, rather than just cramming down three squares regardless of appetite.

Sorry, I know that is beyond tedious to read, just wanted to put it out there. Am v pleased with the sweet refusal, especially since I really didn't want them so it involved no willpower.

well done VG [in awe emoticon] well done indeed

am home and am not going near the scales till Fri at the earliest. I haven't been awful, no booze etc but I'll admit to not being great - ladies, not making excuses but I needed something to get me through the weekend

Sazz- am very proud, if you were here I would squeeze you tight, what little of you is left

luckoftheirish · 15/02/2010 09:30

morning...

feeling very today for some reason.. feel like i have a long way to go but know that i don't iykwim...

think i still have the af blues.. god this month has really killed me... not much chance of proper exercise til thurs... but am going to try and go on dh's bike if dd2 has a nap today..

going out for a walk with dd2 in the rain in the mo but guess it will only be about 1/2 hour so will have to be extra good the next couple of days or friday will be a bad day..

dizzydixies · 15/02/2010 10:42

LOTI - chin up darling, look at how well Sazz and Hots have done and you're just starting out

I on the other had believe am going to be here for years as of this morning am +1 which I suppose is ok considering the weekend

gym this morning and now have to get ready for work this afternoon. Am going to try to get to the gym lots this week and neglect the running as my knees were seriously sore

banana and boiled eggs on toast this morning - not all on the one plate

luckoftheirish · 15/02/2010 10:49

thanks dizzy and well done on the gym this am!!!

walked for 30 minutes in the rain with dd2 at a very brisk pace so feel like i have got rid of some of the conwebs...

logged my food for today and i have to find exercise for 140 calories to allow me to eat what i want to eat!!!! so fingers crossed dd2 will sleep at lunchtime!!!

luckoftheirish · 15/02/2010 13:08
