maybe that will redeem me from being completely thick will all other parts

no idea, all I know is that its shift Tues for me as I'm back on

hotterpotter · 01/02/2010 22:16

Still two weeks to Shrove Tuesday, but we had pancakes yesterday and DD was disappointed not to have honey on them. We bought honey at the supermarket this morning therefore according to her we HAD to have them again. Couldn't be bothered to argue and they did have blueberries in and I did only have one...

Been on my bike to make amends but the counter thingy is broken so no idea how far or fast I went but did 40 minutes and am sweaty now so pancake and milky way worked off

OK girls. Chocolate has been more or less replaced by fruit. Am now farting like a fart monster. Is this a hereto unforeseen consequence? Aaarghhh. Or have I just shared the inner workings of my intestines with you all for no reason ...

Cheerleads with some pom pom waving for all the running. May even get on my bike and do a virtual ride round some of the run routes so that I can cheer you on your way round.

luckoftheirish · 02/02/2010 12:01

express step and all over body work out completed.. only problem is that i have hurt my back in the process.. NOT GOOD..

by the way have any of you noticed how much stupid stuff you eat in the day? i would be so embarressed for anyone to see my food focus ..

have also noticed i'm eating things not tasting them properly and wondering why i have just eaten the said thing?..

loti is officially losing the plot

VintageGardenia · 02/02/2010 12:58

Good work on blind cycling hots and exhausting-sounding work by loti!

I have run 3K and then because of twingeing Achilles (boring boring boring) I rowed 3K instead of running more. Then had cup of tea with a friend. (Does it feel as if you're reading my diary - apols)

I am on Day 5 of India & Neris, feeling rather unhealthy and as if eating too much fat. However nary a carb has passed my lips for 4.5 days which must be good. I did accidentally (as you were saying loti - without thinking - polish off a few grapes in the car that I had for ds2 - they are not allowed as vv sugary - anyway we shall see.

dizzydixies · 02/02/2010 18:51

VG - I meant to ask how it was all going - good for you

Loti - careful with your back sweetie

have managed fruit and yogurt for brekker/ baked potato & tuna for lunch (aero&crips) haven't had tea yet, one session in gym and some late night floor scrubbing

all logged so still some calories to go for tea thank goodness !!!

dizzydixies · 02/02/2010 20:05

SSAAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

why are some of my calories in red and some in green?!!?

dizzydixies · 02/02/2010 20:09

now they're all in red

although I'm not sure I know how to log a tuna toastie for tea!!

I think if you look at the home page it will give you a better overview of calories compared to targets and exercise. My food page is telling me in red calories but my home page is telling me I am -866 calories today on my burn level and that's including fish and chips for tea which = 1/4lb. We will see tomorrow on Friday...

Sazz your food intake seems miniscule youi must be very hungry determined

VG are you enjoying the food though? From what I understand about these zero carb diets you actually eat a lot fewer calories than you think, even with the cheese/cream etc because there are no calorie-laden carbs as well as the high protein making you feel fuller for longer, so no need for sneaky snacking (apart from autopilot grapes )

Loti I am pleased to hear that Food Focus has helped you realise you weren't being as good as you thought Hope you are managing to control the snacking a bit better now!

LOL lwfh I am a trumper too Well done on the choc replacement, I remember those early newborn days with fear and trembling and the tiredness makes it so easy/tempting to reach for the chocolate/biscuits/cake

I have only set it to 1lb a week but wanted to feel I could actually achieve that after the last few months...

So my burn level is 1824 but after exercise I have only had 958 net calories which leaves me hundreds left over It's only red on food because, like you said, if you put food in before exercise it goes red but doesn't go back to green when you add the exercise in.

I wonder how many calories are burned mning...

But I have actually eaten 1407 calories so surely that's OK? I have just done quite a bit of exercise today. As a sedentary person, to lose 2lb a week I would have to have a net calorie target of only 824 and that aint never gonna happen...

Anyway I will be at work tomorrow and seem to eat apples till they are coming out of my ears to stave off hunger/boredom.

So if you have set it to lose 2lb a week, what is your net goal? I think you said you have put down as lightly active, well if I do that then my net goal to lose 2lb a week is only 1090 calories!
