Here we are, thanks Cyteen for the excellent title although it's slightly false advertising on my part

LOL mine was once but he is just old now. Actually if I am honest the fact he has consented to DC3 has totally knocked me for six, I am in two minds so don't want to keep jumping him because of what it may lead to...

Have had a few slices of nice ham tonight spread with cream cheese but prob still just within my maintenance calorie limit which is a miracle

OK.

11 week goal.

~22 weeks until my trip to England.

Goal for before England: lose 1 stone 4 lb from where I am now.

So 11 week aim is to lose half of this 9 lb (is this right?)

Aim for this week:

Record food honestly and accurately.

Hum. Does anyone have a link for something like this? (sorry for not trawling back through the thread - but if anyone has a link to hand this would be great, if not, please don't bother)

PS re: drink lots of water - fizzy water was on offer in the supermarket today and now we have 36 big bottles. Shopping as an alternative to dieting. Like buying a textbook instead of revising for an exam.

lwfhthebagpipeplayer · 31/01/2010 00:16

POsitive note, well at least the last few weeks have got me thinking about dieting, even if I haven't got very far with it yet.

lwfhthebagpipeplayer · 31/01/2010 00:17

NOTE TO SELF for consistency. Time to weigh is BEFORE breakfast on Friday morning.

VintageGardenia · 31/01/2010 13:17

11 weeks from now:

Hots: lose 10lb

Hello yes we've only had intermittent broadband today too, not sure why, we were 100 per cent ok during rotten weather etc.

Lord Ford has a host of new disciples!

LOL at TS being amazed her band is still going .

You made us!

TwilightSurfer · 31/01/2010 22:03

ya'll are making me blush for no reason. this forum was really created by each one of you who wanted/needed support that fit easily into your normal lives. i only typed the title heading and posted the link on our baby thread. had you not clicked the link and settled in with the "idea" of the thread, it would not be the amazing place it is today. it makes me smile to read how successful and empowered each of you feel by being a part of this group.

YOU LADIES ROCK!!!

hotterpotter · 31/01/2010 22:13

Well you can tell that Dizzy has joined our merry band, last thread took 5 months to fill, this one is over half way in less than 7 weeks

Been good today, two delicious meals and only a handful of cranberry wheats for snacking this evening. Just got Friday's overindulgence to wreak potential havoc on tomorrow's mid way weigh...

I'd like to register my gratitude for making me looking into charting tools (and the like). I am in the process of downloading an interval application for my Blackberry. Now I should be able to set up my Couch-2-5K running plans for the week in such a way that I don't have to keep looking at my watch while I'm running/walking (mind you more walking than running). Trying to remember 60secs and 90secs had me a bit be-fuddled today. Thankfully I'd set my iTunes with 25 minutes worth of music and had figured I needed 10 60-sec running bits. So I listened, counted 10 seperate runs, the walked the remaining time. I only found out a minute ago that the total time should have been 20 minutes. Oh well. LOL!

For anyone interested in building up to running a 5K (or farther), I really like the Couch-to-5K website. You can become a FAN on Facebook and get daily exercise/eating tips.

luckoftheirish · 01/02/2010 07:33

...never weigh ones self monday morning after a weekend of indulgence... NOTE TO SELF...

hotterpotter · 01/02/2010 08:08

Loti you look absolutely fab and so slim in that photo I know ideal body size/shape is personal to everyone but really, you look great

By some miracle following the food focus rules on Saturday and Sunday I have managed to start the week only half a pound up on Friday
