Here we are, thanks Cyteen for the excellent title although it's slightly false advertising on my part

Hmmmmm weighed again after a run but wearing jeans & am half a pound off but I don't think I can count it.

Ouf run was hard this morning, 6K in 37 mins.

Oh well perhaps it is one of those stealth weeks, you know, we have all been good and nothing has happened, then next week we are all half a stone down and saying what I can't understand it, I've lived on double cream and crisps!

weighed in this morning (after curry night where I was terribly restrained Halo) and I am still only 1+ of my weightloss before christmas

was at gym again this morning (check me out!!) and fruit and yogurt for brekker

off to do some baking now as its my friend's birthday and I want to surprise her as she is lovely and then DH and I are going into town, just because we can

dizzydixies · 22/01/2010 11:46

oh and I got my period this morning too so what does that do to the weighing in aspect of things?!

hotterpotter · 22/01/2010 12:00

Sorry but also relieved to hear I am not the only one who has had a disappointing weigh-in this morning. Am intending to make a concerted effort not to overeat/drink this weekend and see if it makes a difference.

Obviously this does not include the Borough Market brownies I have made for tonight's pudding I will just have mine with single cream

Dizzy you are doing so well and your q re periods, I'm not sure but I seem to put on 1 or 2lb as it starts and wee it out again over the next few days.

only one new years resolution still going tho.. was comsuming at least 3 cans of diet coke a day and have now had no diet coke since the 4th Jan.. check me out!!!

hotterpotter · 22/01/2010 13:52

40 length swim for me so I have managed 3 and a half ExerSazzes will do better next week...

Loti well done on your 4! And wow at giving up diet coke, I used to love it too and know how addictive it can be. I bet your teeth feel better for it Have you tried fizzy water instead? I drink loads of that and find it very refreshing. In fact I think I will alternate wine and fizzy water tonight in an effort not to get too drunk and raid the bread bin

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 22/01/2010 17:16

Well I have had a medium sized portion of heaven choc brownie, a few of the DC's chips at 6pm and half a sausage, followed by cheesy chicken wrapped in bacon and chips just now but on the plus side we have no crisps in so that's 500 calories up for today

Sazz hope you have a lovely weekend

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 23/01/2010 07:32

sounds like a great weekend ahead sazz.. relax and enjoy it.. you will be good from monday!!!

off out for big walk this am with the girls and a playdate is afo which involves the park so hopefully that will keep me on the straight and narrow...

crips last night, gym again today (3rd day in a row Halo) but still forgetting to drink enough water, never mind its a start

am back on shift from tomorrow ladies so if I disappear forgive me

dizzydixies · 24/01/2010 21:09

hello?!?!

hotterpotter · 24/01/2010 22:07

Wotcha Dizz sorry you seem to have been left in charge of HotMamas while we have been AWOL

No crisps this weekend although did have quite a few breadsticks instead... and one slice of cake today but it was MIL cake so worthy and relatively virtuous.

Not much exercise, drove about 50 miles today so used up a few calories concentrating, oh and another half an ExerSazz with DH

Love these Burns Night smileys

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 24/01/2010 22:14

me too, am loving them all

have bought new trainers but they cost more than I wanted to spend as apparently all the transvestites had been in and bought all the sodding size 8s in the sales they're pretty too and am hoping to use them as encouragement to keep going to the gym though

am going to try to go again tomorrow although I have jigged my hip out and in a lot of pain with it

hotterpotter · 24/01/2010 22:28

Well done on getting new trainers and am and [impressed] by your gym attendance. Don't go too crazy or you'll break though, and look after that hip

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 24/01/2010 22:33

its the old lady gym Hots, honestly, the circuit is only half an hour which is the beauty of it

am toying with the idea of doing the Race for Life for mum in June, its exactly 21wks from today - am not convinced though as I don't think I could run the length of myself and I hate running

the hip is an ongoing issue but seems to not want to click back in this time for some reason thank you for the concern though - the physio/osteopath and Dr can't pin it down so I think its all related to my weight and the mild hyper mobility syndrome thingy, that and the huge babies that my poor hips had to suffer through [meep at thought]

luckoftheirish · 25/01/2010 07:24

well done dizzy!!!

dh back last night so had a glass of wine, peanuts and pizza ...

new week new start.. banishing all treats/wine this week as 70s fancy dress night sat and dress borders on the indecent of shortness!!!!

hotterpotter · 25/01/2010 10:03

Morning all

Back on the wagon after a certain amount of overindulgence this weekend but the scales say only +2.5 and hopefully most of that is water... No chance to have a go at the pilates dvd though, and it's asda day today so may have a go tomorrow while DH goes to the post office

Loti bet you are glad to have DH home and a few peanuts and a slice or two of pizza won't kill you. Ooh I could just eat some pizza now

Dizzy that is a bugger re your hip I had a lot of trouble with mine when DS was small, ended up getting a new mattress as I could barely walk when I first got up and was even uncomfortable lying down. New mattress didn't help at all, but sleeping with a pillow between my knees worked magic. It didn't pop out though, just used to ache badly. I'll shut up now

Sazz hope you ahve had a fun weekend with no gain

VG how have you been?

NO1, Cyteen, ALBS, you there????

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 25/01/2010 10:17

girls girls, quick, hide all the goodies, Sazz is on her way home

hots - we did the same, new mattress and pillow between the knees but I don't know what the feck is going on - when I say pop out I don't know how better to describe it, this is however the first time that the aching/pain has extended down the leg & buttock but I think thats because I'm overcompensating - it hurts the most going up/down stairs

VintageGardenia · 25/01/2010 13:56

Sorry to hear your hip's gone dicky on you dizzy.

I'm thinking of doing the Race for Life too, in Belfast - thought of it after seeing pf mention it on FB.

Not much to report, ate tons of the wrong stuff yesterday, made a Vic Sponge for my sister's birthday cake, riddled with jam and cream it was, also ate toast, sandwiches, various bready things. Feeling like utter shite this morning, am putting it down to a food hangover .

Sazz hope you had a fab time!

Have booked a night away with DP. After a family-heavy Christmas and very little time just the two of us, think we need it. Nice hotel near my ma is doing prac half-price offer so thinking of parking the boys there as she is almost 100 per cent now.
