Here we are, thanks Cyteen for the excellent title although it's slightly false advertising on my part

Hey VG as long as you are busy ExerSazzing we can let you off posting . Running and rowing sounds very tiring healthful and impressive! I too am succumbing to the lure of pilates, although only via dvd at this point. Hoping my dvd will arrive tomorrow / Friday so I can have a go at the weekend.

Back to only +1 from Friday this morning so steady progress. Just got to try and finish a weekend on the level for once, although this would involve laying off all the nice stuff

cheeky weigh in revealed am still +3 but am not disheartened

very tired though which is pathetic, continuing to walk everywhere in the pouring rain and would someone please tell me that hoovering counts as an excersazz so I might consider getting on with it??

lovely cafe meeting last night with wine/crips and cake - I had two glasses of wine, one handful of crisps and that was it thats a huge effort from someone who can inhale a share bag of kettle chips in one breath

dizzydixies · 20/01/2010 11:01

am off to google a pilates, tis a more gentler excercise no?!!?

thank you Sazz

VintageGardenia · 20/01/2010 11:05

I thought the exerSazz philosophy was that anything that raises your heartrate for 30mins+ counted .

VintageGardenia · 20/01/2010 11:07

Sorry you are missing your swim Sazz. I know that frustration! Creche was flooded so they have moved temporarily to a room in the attached hotel. Vie de luxe for ds2! Thought I might take him swimming this afternoon, haven't been since the summer (and he wasn't too impressed then...)

dizzydixies · 20/01/2010 11:10

well if thats the philosophy am off to watch my reruns of Angel with David Boreanez, he does wonders for my heartrate

I'm not ExerSazzing today as I hurt my bum on the bike yesterday and so tired after late night / early morning today I may just curl up with my book. Still, two down already and swimming planned again for Friday so just need to fit one more in either tomorrow or pilates at the weekend.

Been good with food today, cereal, salad, apples and home made chicken curry. Have drunk half a gallon of tea but no water yet so will neck a couple of pints now before bed.

Sazz that's a bugger re swimming but good that you got your ExerSazz in anyway. Has all the snow gone yet?

Dizz David Boreanaz sets my pulse racing too

VG hope DS enjoyed his more swishy creche surroundings!

Hots - I love you but seriously, back off the David

fruit and yogurt for brekker; lunch was a missmash of crackers/cheese/ham/tomatoes and dinner was spanish chicken with rice & peas chucked in for good measure

hotterpotter · 20/01/2010 21:08

Well I must admit that James Marsters grew on me after a while so OK you can have the broody one and I'll have the funny one . Or maybe the scruffy vampire one out of off of Being Human

all over body workout and fitness pilates to be completed today...

not very hopefully about weigh in tom .. nothig feels different tho i have tried really hard to be good!... i tend to eat the same things every day so trying to cut them down/out is proving difficult!!

no wine last 2 nights and none forthcoming til dh gets back sun!!

hotterpotter · 21/01/2010 09:00

I think you are already pretty slim though Loti? It's always harder to lose the last 9 than the first 9! Although not sure how I would know that as I have never got within 9lb of being slim since I was a teenager .

No ExerSazz for me today either as my sister has roped me into taking her to Asda tonight once DC are in bed. Oh well, I have a 2l bottle of fizzy water on my desk to get through so hoping for a teeny bit of loss tomorrow.

dizzydixies · 21/01/2010 09:08

right ladies, I'm back down to +1 of what I was before Christmas (waits on Sazz to work it out) so am quite pleased.

I hope you don't mind early weigh in but we're having friends over tonight for a few drinks and a take away and I couldn't stand the thought of doing it tomorrow

I also start shift on Sunday so technically this is my Friday

hotterpotter · 21/01/2010 09:35

That sounds like another 3lb off Dizzy, well done that's brilliant

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 21/01/2010 09:43

woo hoo dizzy that is great news... waiting to go to the gym for my classes.. have no motivation at all.. however onwards and upwards!!!

luckoftheirish · 21/01/2010 13:26

completed my two classes which i am pleased about as was nearly not going to go..

have had a sneaky look at the scales and lost not one single oz ... this doesn't boad well for tom weigh in... lets hope the weightloss fairy dances over my bed tonight and magics away even 1/2lb!!!!

VintageGardenia · 21/01/2010 13:36

Well done dizz and sorry you're not seeing a result yet loti but you seem to be pretty good at the old exerSazz so I suppose it is rather boringly just a question of waiting to see the results which MUST inevitably be the result of it.

Fed up of waiting for farking results myself too. Did the pilates class this morning, think I need something a bit more high octane though, as for an hour of gym time I didn't feel it was worthwhile. I suppose you don't need to feel pooped to have done some good, but I feel my gym time is so rare I have to explode the heart when I do get there. Teacher lovely though & everyone says she is fab so perhaps I should stick with it.

If you can tolerate Gwynnie this does look like a lovely dish.

Same. Sigh.

OP posts:
VintageGardenia · 22/01/2010 07:44

Same .

Sazz it's a six week course I've signed up for so I'll do each week and see afterwards about continuing I think. I might start seeing if I can get to the gym in the evenings or early mornings once a week though.

Well done dizzy.

Hope everyone else gets a nice surprise on the scales.
