Here we are, thanks Cyteen for the excellent title although it's slightly false advertising on my part

Sorry dizz. Next week will be a different story.

Aching all over today - perhaps rowing is the way to go! Shoulders, sides, tummy - God it really reached all the hard-to-reach bits! DP used to row seriously & has always been supertoned & fit & muscular (phwoar) - perhaps this is why! I prattled excitedly about my 5K and he went and suggested I wait a while before trying out for the Irish squad.

VintageGardenia · 16/01/2010 10:38

Yes we had steak last night as well lwfh. And lovely little rosemary potatoes and red wine. Was delish but not very HotMamas. However every so often I do need to share with dp and let him have his choice of dins!

Your loss is brill! Well done.

well done dizzy and lwfh!!!..

well i have bad news.. bought a new scales and it seems that i need to lose 9lbs to reach my target ...

so i will be trying to up my exersazz next week and not consume wine and pringles.. today is an exception of course ..

however my only saving grace is my body fat is 23.1% which is pretty good according to the table and water is 55.5% and should ideally be at 50%.. due on so hoping a few pounds melt away??!!

Mmmmm your chicken butty sounds delish Sazz

We had shepherds pie which was also yummy, then followed later with rather a lot of Heroes chocs which had just resurfaced after being overlooked at Christmas Still, had a mini ExerSazz with DH so burned off maybe 2 or 3 of 'em

morning all - pooped but here - still pooped though

am off upstairs to tidy and iron while I have a very rare child free day till 3pm

glad to hear you're all doing well, sorry to be so absent and SAZZ?!?!?!?!!?? wench!

dizzydixies · 18/01/2010 15:55

right, forced myself to take dog out for walk with DD1 straight after school - now I'm not saying we were power walking or anything but it was a lot better than the backward crawl I get to do with DD2 and DD3 in tow

and it was 45minutes too

luckoftheirish · 18/01/2010 17:11

well done dizzy.. apparently walking burns 6 cal a minute normal pace so thats 270cals ..

dh bringing in his bike from the car ...

and can i tell you now how awesome he is?? he only offered to have the girls tomorrow first thing and wed first thing for me to go to my one to one pilates ..

so tom is looking like a pilates one to one, express step and total body workout.. hopefully those 9lbs will melt away

Honestly you are obsessed with my biking dress I have bid on a pilates DVD today and when I win that I will be doing pilates in my dress too! At least until the pilates does some good to my still very sticky-out tummy...

Well done on the walking Dizz, dogs are a great way to help you get more exercise shame they are smelly . Did you decide on the gym?

Loti I am glad that your DH is being supportive of you and looking after DDs so you can get to your classes Have you had a go on the bike yet?

Sazz what are you trying to say about my/DH's prowess??? Not to worry as I have done a proper ExerSazz today - 15 miles in 38.30

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 19/01/2010 07:24

quick post as have to get dds ready before i leave the house.. dd2 typically asleep when i need her awake!!!

hots tried the bike admittedly in my jammies and i offically take my hat off to you!!! i did 10 minutes and was absolutely pooped!!!

it took dh nearly 2 hours to put it together queue mucho swearing and huffing and puffing .. however we now have the bike so can exersazz from home!!!

will be back to report on how i got at my classes if i haven't passed out from exhaustion ..

well done hots and sazz for completed exersazz!!!!

luckoftheirish · 19/01/2010 13:13

one to one pilate express step and all over body workout completed phew

hotterpotter · 19/01/2010 13:41

Excellent, well done

I have walked DD to nursery instead of taking the car so that's just over 1.5 miles altogether, and I have had fruit for lunch. Still and at the scales this morning but not half as bad as yesterday...

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 19/01/2010 14:49

Another 15 miles on the bike in 38.25 so 5 seconds faster than yesterday, plus I have spent a couple of hours sorting out the shit heap which is our bedroom this aft, inspired by Dizzy's sorting the other day, we now have a massive chaz pile on top of the wardrobe, and a clean floor .

Sazz I made the stupid mistake of weighing before bed on Sunday and was +7 from Friday , so +5 yesterday morning but thankfully only +2 today, hopefully if I drink enough water and eat nothing on Thursday I might just scrape 1/4 lb off...

Been trying to come to terms with post-car budgeting. Now those kind of pounds come off easily enough

Waaaaah am only just rescuing this thread from dropping off, not a good sign.

Have exerSazzed running & rowing, and have signed up for a Pilates class. A friend already goes and says the instructor is really good and everyone seems to rave about Pilates in general.

Sorry for brevity, back later and hope all are well.
