Here we are, thanks Cyteen for the excellent title although it's slightly false advertising on my part

25 minutes later than scheduled but both DC asleep so on for ExerSazz in about 15 minutes. |Good job too as I have eaten two segments of a chocolate oraange today, a little bit of ice cream and half a chicken gougon I did swerve most of a left-over buffet though so progress is definitely being made

Sazz well done on th snow shovelling again

LWFH are you BFing? If you are and can avoid cake most of the time then your weight should really drop off. I know what you mean about needing extra brekker after a bad night, thaty is when my deadly carb cravings kick in...

Loti the glasses are taking a bit of getting used to! but sometimes when I am having astrong cake craving I have a sniff of the cupcake soap and it makes me

Dizzy I hope that was low fat greek yogurt

'Tis not quite as mad aunt as it sounds - is more a sort of tennis dress than ridiculous floaty ensemble

lol hots.. giving you good incentive tho!!.. going to take dd2 out for a big walk in the snow today as no cm again.. however she def going tom and i already have two classes booked in at the gym... not very optimistic about weigh in tho

VintageGardenia · 14/01/2010 10:02

Ah powerplate is not what I thought! Hope swimming has been good for your knee .

Nope am not a great swimmer - though I did do it when I was pregnant - and somehow feel I don't get a proper workout from it either.

I am a terrible coffee fiend too - some day I will give it up. Not today though as I was in at the sales yesterday and got a fabulous new coffee pot (ds2 shattered our glass one before Christmas by unpacking it from the cupboard...) I crisscrossed the city yesterday with ds2 in the pram & got all kinds of fab bargains on dullish things like sheets, mattress covers, pillows, etc, and mostly used gift tokens to pay for them. Not sure I can quite count that as exerSazz but I did buy a new pair of running shorts...

Gym today though am feeling knackered so hope I can lift the aul legs.

Adoring the mad aunt beach dress cyclist!

Hope you lot are all well today.

I did much the same today, 3K at 11 and 10 mins on machines, was keeping short as ds still unsettled in the creche. Ho hum.

I made your yummy hot & sour salmon last night (or as I like to call it Hot Sazzlin' Salmon) but had one of those kitchen times where it was all substitution or leaving out - you know "oh it says grapes hmm well here I have an olive it's a similar size and colour innit?" - so left out things I didn't have e.g. stock, OJ, and managed to only half-cook the salmon so we ate it like this no really it's delicious .

Made mushroom risotto for tonight as have not been supermarket shopping better do some tomorrow.

How's work?

hotterpotter · 14/01/2010 21:26

Good to hear you two have been ExerSazzing, although sorry to hear DS still unsettled VG

Hope you were both after your exertions

I too have been busy, cycling in my dress again 'Tis not as stupid as it sounds, after all I can't do it in my work clothes / dont want to do it in undies and have no actual sport gear so this is a good compromise

13 miles in 33.50, well over 2l of water, only one 52 calorie naughty biscuit so moderately hopeful of small loss tomorrow. Fingers crossed all

To be honest DH doesn't give much indication that he looks at me at all.

Feck him anyway because I have lost 2lb, phew and when I am thin and gorgeous I will have a string of toy boys

I must say I am mightly relieved to get a half-decent loss this week otherwise I think I might have just given up. Onwards and downwards!

Hope you all get some good results this morning

That's amazing, well done! I think you said you put 3lb on between Thursday and Friday last week so that was obviously some serious water retention going on I am always of the opinion that a big weight gain is temporary whereas a loss is a loss I always try and drink a 2l bottle of fizzy water on a Thursday to ensure my body is at optimum flushed-outness for a Friday

46.5lb though, that is absolutely brilliant

Well done loti on the -2 too, and yay that you made it to the gym at last You have some extra motivation too if the Nottingham meet up goes ahead... I already know how hairy those other 'girls' are

Been swimming at lunchtime and feel great now It's the first time I've been for over a month so when I got in I was thinking maybe I would just do 32 and work my way back up but just carried on and did my usual 40. Still 'only' took 40 minutes so am quite chuffed with that.

4x ExerSazzes done... check

Sufficient calories burned to eat the Pringles later...check

No one mention the wine calories though

X-post with you there Sazz, sounds like a good swim for you too

Ooh well done everyone! Great to hear of everyone going down - yours especially good Sazzles, I am pleased for you but also very [green] as I am only down 1.5.

Went to gym this am and ds seemed better with his ladies. I was bored running so did 3K and moved to rowing machine, did 5K on it in 27 mins, I don't know if that's good or not but it certainly seemed to stretch my tummy more. Also easier than running, really the machine seems to do the work for you more or less.

I saw Bono on my way home, out for a stroll without his sunglasses but with a sort of cammo cap.

hotterpotter · 15/01/2010 13:52

I hope you tried to run him over VG while no one was looking...

Well done you too on the -1.5, you are littler than us I think? So each pound trickier to shift.

OK, checking back, -6lb since Saturday morning (-2 since started posting here).

DD +3 on Tues (4 weeks)

have realised another issue will be finishing off DS's supper as he eats at 6 and DH and I not until 10. Will have to have a think about a good 6pm snack.

Steak tonight as I made the mistake of asking DH what he wanted me to cook for him.

Well done everyone this week.

hotterpotter · 16/01/2010 09:12

Well done lwfh that's great! That HotMama magic is really working on you
