Anyone want to join me? DD is nearly 11 weeks old and have lost precisely NOTHING since a week after she was born - so am still a stone heavier than I was pre PG.

Seeing as I was 2 stone heavier post DS (3), and I could have done with losing some before I got PG with him, I reckon I need to lose 4 (OMG, 4) stone.

Have set a start date of Sunday and am hoping low GI will be the way forward....

Anyone want to hand hold, share tips and help me stay away from the biscuit tin?

Evening
I thought I'd check to see how everyone was doing (I've just eaten ice cream w/ginger biscuits and rhubarb sauce - the shame!).

Gillyan well done on the weight loss. That is LOADS.

Walking I just haven't had much of a chance to get DS2 into the buggy for some long power walks. DS1 is 4 and would be far too slow. He starts school soon so no excuses then. The one time I did attempt to go for a walk with DS2 and DD (she's 2) our tire on the Phil and Ted's had popped. Just my luck.

Anyone have any good stomach exercises that take little time to do but with GREAT FAST RESULTS? Pass them over....

Sweet Tooth Tip I am a real sweet tooth and I read once in Grazia that if you absolutely need to finish your dinner w/something sweet, try toffees. They are 2-3 which is less cals than a few biscuits or chocolate bar.

Now tomorrow is the beginning of my better eating week. No more maltesers or biscuits when I do the night feed.

Apple and other BF'ers what do you snack on at night? Or is it just me that is hungry when feeding?

jiggly, I think I might go and buy some new stuff then - I just hate everything I have at the moment (and I have to go out shopping for the blasted christening anyway)

I've been to the gym twice so far - and then was gutted when I jumped on the scales to find I hadn't lost an ounce (still 105kg ) sigh, I sweated so much I couldn't help hoping I'd worked off a kilo...

I have lost half a bleeding pound in 2 weeks!! How awful.................I guess 3 times a week exercising is just not enough especially as I am hitting the peanut butter at 3am! Guess I must attempt to eat better (gulp).

Haven't checked in for a while Lost 1/2 pound over last fortnight and 2 lbs this week. My total loss since pregnancy is now 3st 10lbs and 30.5 lbs since joining weight watchers in June. Really not on track for getting to my goal before I have to return to work in January- really going to have to sit down and re-evaluate my targets. My next target is to lose 6lbs by my birthday which is 3 weeks today. I'm having a night away with my husband and going to a Bloc Party concert so got a new top which currently does not fit but don't hold much hope of it fitting by then. Just going to try and be true to myself with points and not allow myself days off, plus going to try and get to the gym at least 3 times a week as I've slacked off with it a bit. Hopefully with schools being back and routine back in my life, I will stop straying. Hope everyone else is managing to stick to their eating plans better than me!

misspaella and mavornia don't get disheartened by slow weight loss when joining the gym. My first two weeks of joining the gym and going 6-7 times a week plus swimming with my son I only lost 1lb then 0.5lbs the 2nd week. But the third week I lost 5lbs. Alot of the time its because your building muscle which weighs more than fat, and will help you in the long run by burning fat faster. It could also be that your not eating enough due to your extra exercise and may actually need to eat MORE to lose weight! Mad I know

Hiya, sorry for not posting for ages. Managed to loose 12lbs in 6 wks loosely following slimming World. I have cheated loads and been away camping etc and never count alcohol as syns!!!!! Anyway back on the plan properly today.

I think the extra walking is helping as DD1 is back at pre-school and just taking her and back 3 times a week is more exercise than I was doiong when I was heavily pregnant. It all helps.

Hope you are all doing well xx

Hi Everyone,

Am i okay to join your little group?

DS2 is 9 weeks old now and i finally plucked up the courage to get weighed yesterday. I'm half a pound heavier than pre-pregnancy but i already needed to lose about 5 stone so i won't be celebrating just yet.

I've been trying to eat more healthily but am finding that i am absentmindedly eating chocolate, biscuits and crisps while bf. I really need to stop!

hello everyone

welcome Moodylou, to be back at your prepregnancy weight is very good!

Activity - I have learnt to be super quick and turn the wii off so it can't tell me off!! the first time i got on it post pregancy it was not happy as it was about a year since my last visit and i had gained a couple of stone instead of losing it!

Still havent got my 2 stone sticker at SW but i am hoping i will get it this week as i have had a stomach bug the past week, i know thats cheating but a loss is a loss

oh and i have finally found the confidence to start at the gym, its amazing the difference its made to my shape after only a couple of visits!

Misspaella · 05/10/2009 12:23
