Demented, LOL at the skinny lollies and ryvita minis after the wine, chocolate and nuts!!! Sounds like me!!!! I did really well yesterday, was out on a course all day, took yoghurts and fruit, had a proper meal in the evening, healthy snacks.

Then last night, I ate a whole chocolate orange!!!

I am really fed up - have eaten a complete load of rubbish but can't really taste anything Wish I knew why I was eating it in the first place!!!
To add to my misery - I now have conjunctivitis (in both eyes) to go with the laryngitis and chest infection So not only do I feel yuk - I also look yuk - Oh well suppose it's better than feeling yuk and looking okay - good job I can laugh (even if it does hurt)
Good luck for next week everyone

Arrrgh, I've been making a vaguely healthy quiche/tart thing for dinner and it has all gone disasterously wrong! Nobody has eaten yet, going to see what it is like when it comes out of the oven but I think it's going to be the curry-man again!

Hope your feeling better soon Loobz.

Still no miam?

I think I should just give up now.... By Sunday night last week I'd gained another 6.5 lbs - that's 10.75 lbs in just 4 days. I always do gain it really easily, but that's a record upwards blip even for me. Managed to lose one of them again by Thursday, but that's still up 5.5lbs on the week, and meant I was heavier now than at the start of Mamas 2005. I really haven't been eating so much that there's any logical explanation for gaining that much - honest! (Unless of course all you choclate eaters who've managed to lose have somehow been sending the calories my way when I wasn't looking)

More positive though - went shopping yesterday and seriously considered buying a pair of trousers to shock DH, simply because I they said "10" on the label, and I could get them on and do them up. OK they were stretchy, and they were too tight to be honest, and they were an American make (a US 10 is actually about a UK 14), but it still definately said 10 on the label. Discretion won in the end and I bought the ones marked "12" instead (and owned up to DH that they weren't really that size).
