Well done Evesmama. Brilliant!

Loobz · 28/02/2005 19:51

Well done Evesmama and glad you enjoyed yourself Miam. I think I have just about recovered from Friday night and am right back on the plan again. Feel better after speaking to people at work today - looks like I didn't make such a prat of myself after all - or maybe everyone else was too p**sed to remeber too

Weighed under a tree, eh??!! And how come you've only just found out about January?? We always find out the week after month end.

Oh, by the way, was it you that said they might have some size 20 clothes to sell for postage only? Might be interested!! If it was you, you've got my email address!!

miam · 28/02/2005 20:09

Thanks Evesmama and Loobz - I had a fab time. The dancing must have worked cos lost another pound at class tonight wahey! Glad you are back to it Loobz - NO MORE DRINKING!!!!

Well done Yorkie - another 2lbs and slimmer of the month WOW! You realise you would probably have lost more, cos your goosepimples must have weighed a little extra!! Brrrrr....

Loobz · 28/02/2005 21:06

Well done Yorkie - who cares ahat it was under so long as it was a loss -
Miam - I am NEVER drinking again - not joking when I say it has taken me until today to recover
Thing is I don't normally drink much but had been so stressed on Friday cos I was in court in the morning (with work) and it's not a part of my job I like! Then we all fell out with our boss who was acting like a moody teenager and didn't come to the night out (men!!!) So by the time we went out I was in the mood for a drink (which would have been fine if I'd stuck to one) Behaving now though!!!
Even got chatted up on Friday which I thought was hilarious

Evesmama · 28/02/2005 22:16

WHAT A "GOOD" WEEK, EVERYONE NO MATTER WHAT THEY'VE DONE SEEMS REALLY ENTHUSIASTIC AND READY TO TAKE ON THE FIGHT OF THE FLAB![GRIN][WINK]

Evesmama · 28/02/2005 22:16

oops sorry bout shouting!

Evesmama · 28/02/2005 22:36

well talk about 'old eating habits' coming back and biting you on the ass(eh..who talks about that?)

i "treat" myself this afternoon to a burger, chips and salad and pepsi max at lunch with my friend....an hour later at playgroup with dd, terrible pains in my stomache, going all hot and cold...finally got outside with no one around and did many trumps!, still having stabbing pains all way home(45 min walk), got here and felt quite queesy and all i could think of was lunch...bleuuurgh!
had the best seat in the house for an hour!!, had to take imodium and drink lots of water!!

so let that be a lesson for you girls, once your body is a honed, sleek temple like mine(!!!!), it cant take the rubbish we used to feed it anymore..and wouldnt recomend trying it again!, will stick to jacket spuds n pasta from now on

come on with those hobnail boots....shame on me, but i paid...dearly!!!

Demented · 28/02/2005 23:01

Well done to everyone's early in the week loses!

coppertop · 28/02/2005 23:24

I'll keep the boots hovering at a safe distance, EM. If you've been 'on the throne' for a long time it may be safer this way.

Congratulations to you 'losers' - especially YG for getting weighed under a tree and being made SOTM all in one evening.

miam · 01/03/2005 08:13

Loobz - better get used to being chatted up. It will be happening more and more you know.... (a bonus to losing weight that we forget about - but unfortunately the dhs/dps don't...)

Serves you right Evesmama. No sympathy whatsoever heh heh.

Was going to go jogging today - but it is SNOWING! Eeuugh - horrible. And I have to go to the dentist today .

Evesmama · 01/03/2005 08:37

new day, no more runny bum! and am ready to face the world..and several bowls of ready brekxxxxxx

coppertop · 01/03/2005 09:53

This must be the only thread on MN which includes profiteroles, weighing under trees and runny bums.

Fennel · 01/03/2005 10:06

miam - dentist is good for weight loss especially if your mouth is numbed up, you might have to miss a couple of meals

miam · 01/03/2005 10:08

Lol CT!! Fennel, I'm only getting my teeth cleaned - but perhaps that will shift a few grams?? heh heh.

Loobz · 01/03/2005 13:35

Oh dear had to laugh when I read Coppertop's message about profiteroles, etc!!!
Glad to hear that you dont have runny bum any more Evesmama
Miam - you're definately right about the Dh not liking the fact that I got chatted up - maybe I should just have kept quiet - couldn't though still think it was hilarious! And as one of my colleagues pointed out yesterday he wasn't bad looking either Has done wonders for my self esteem!!!

marj · 01/03/2005 16:35

Good for you Loobz!! I wait for the day when it happens to me!!!!!!!!!!

Evesmama · 01/03/2005 21:02

thankyou all for your concern about my runnybum

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 02/03/2005 15:15

Went and got weighed at lunchtime. I didn't lose but I didn't gain

I stayed the same which is more than I deserved as I made a real pig of myself over the weekend, school quiz night and a party. However, back on straight and narrow. It's the thought of Coppertop's boot that stops me. lol

Magnitude and Fortitude

Time for school run, literally
