Hello all, remember me? I have had Mum and Dad over for intensive babysitting duties for 5 weeks and not had a chance to get online. I have had a lovely 5 weeks of hassle free socialising including lots of dinner parties and a day at Ascot. It was great fun. I am six pounds lighter than when I last posted which may not sound like a lot (about a pound a week on average) but considering the socialising, I am very pleased and have now hit the magic 6 stones lost!

I skimmed the masses of posts and am glad to see the familiar names still going for it and trying hard. Welcome to the new people and look forward to posting a bit more regularily from now on. I need the discipline to stop me slipping as I have had a bit of a laid back time recently.

I have had a low few days which culminated in a posting on menal health last night but better today so will get back in the swing of things, sorry I haven't been around much.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 30/09/2008 20:55

Oh and have finally put some photos on my profile these 2 georgeous children are my reason for lsoing weight.

justRia · 30/09/2008 21:51

Hi five. glad you are feeling a bit better. I struggle with food when I am down.

Yippee for Ags

sealion, it's an exercise bike that does "stuff" (hilly routes I think). Looks painful to me... I can't find a spare hour in which I can do such exercise.

I would have loved to do my salsa today but DH has been in at the wrong times, so been for a 20 min very brisk walk tonight (DM says I am not allowed out in the dark by myself, bless)

justRia · 30/09/2008 21:52

BTW sealion, come back and post, you've seen how nice we all are

justRia · 30/09/2008 21:54

Your DCs are adorable Five. I love that stripey suit DS is wearing (and the chainsawing outfit)

RGPargy · 30/09/2008 22:20

Five - glad you're feeling better today. Your DCs are adorable, you must be very proud!

Toffeetart · 01/10/2008 11:41

Hi everyone - may I join too? Have been 'doing' weight watchers for 1 week and lost 5.5 lbs. Have got stones and stones to lose so I think I will be around for quite some time ....

RiallyEeRiaee · 01/10/2008 12:43

well done toffeetart and welcome

RGPargy · 01/10/2008 16:25

hi Toffee and welcome! Well done on 5.5lbs on your first week, that's a really good loss.

RiallyEeRiaee · 01/10/2008 21:58

another good day here... not enough exercise but stuck well within my SW!

RGPargy · 01/10/2008 22:37

Well done Ria!

I did a little exercise today - about 50 mins walking altogether and i also walked up 4 flights of stairs in the office today!! They are those double staircases, so you have stairs, then a landing, then stairs, then the 11th floor, stairs, then a landing, then stairs, then the 12th floor etc.

RiallyEeRiaee · 02/10/2008 10:47

is that only a little exercise rg? I would be knackered. I have done my 20 min salsa this morning (while DH was at the Drs!)

RGPargy · 02/10/2008 12:40

Doesn't really seem like exercise tho Ria. Unless i stand there doing an exercise DVD/Video, i dont feel like i have done anything!

Well done on your salsa! I really should try and make more effort to do something, even if it's just 30 mins of Tae Bo or something......

Toffeetart · 03/10/2008 11:18

Am defo going to the gym either tonight or some time over the weekend. Have not been too 'naughty' over the last two days but have not been watching my points (Weight Watchers)like a hawk which worked for me last week. Also aiming to drink more water/herbal tea etc today as that seems to help too.

RGPargy · 03/10/2008 12:27

God i really REALLY want to eat crap today!!! It's currently TOM and i just have this craving for chocolate and chips!!

RiallyEeRiaee · 03/10/2008 14:46

I'm really tired and have no enthusiasm for anything AAArgh.

RiallyEeRiaee · 04/10/2008 10:59

And today it's raining.

RGPargy · 04/10/2008 15:02

Hiya

I'm in a real "see-food" mood lately. Think it must be TOM because i just want to eat stodge!!

Ria - yes, the weather's depressing isn't it! Grey and cold and raining now and then. We even put the heating on last night because it was really cold!!

Hope Pink's had better weather than us, anyway!

RiallyEeRiaee · 04/10/2008 15:37

I have to confess to not doing as well as i was
