I once dreamt that my dh was a giant potato wearing blue underpants and moment later my mum was frying the biggest amount of chips I have ever seen - and dh had disappeared .

dd headbutted me accidently tonight..right on my nose, which already feels 4 miles wide..very sore, but one of those things..

Ouch! Know how sore that is - ds regularly headbutts me (but I will forgive him cos he is only a baby ).

Dh has now ordered me off pc cos he 'needs' it (yeah right). So this is probably night night from me. Take care.

Hi everyone.
Bran, I don't really know how I will be. I haven't had to diet really before, my weight came on (i'd like to say crept on but it was cause I was eating too much and doing less activity!) from about the time I started doing my new job about 18months ago. That and my pregnancy has meant I am big. I am a nurse and working on the wards meant rushing around non stop for 8 hours. Now I do (before mat leave) ITU, longer days but less of them and it is more focused around the bed space. Still very hard work but generally less rushing!

I am hoping because I am exercising and eating so so much better, healthier and smaller amounts than I was eating that my target isn't completely unrealistic. I plan to do my workout video at least three times a week, go for the hour and a half walk once a week (mothercare is there for motivation, DS is going to be a very spoilt little boy!) and maybe start going swimming. With the wedding a set date, and wanting my family to see an improvement in me I am hoping will be a good impetous. We will see.

I lost another inch off my hips this week. Also my bust has gone down 4 inches since I started measuring. I wasn't going to pay attention to that area as I am still breastfeeding but can't help but think that must be something to do with weight loss. Gone from a 40 C to 38B in only a couple of weeks .

Anyway, today is long walk day, tell me to stay away from the cake when I get there though!

hunger seems to be coming back again, had a bowl of oats this morning and to try and stop my stomache from shouting at playgroup, i went and bought a ham salad sarnie.but gave me dodgy stomach straight away???cant figure that one out?

I hope it goes well then Flossam, I think your target if very possible considering how well you're doing so far, so long as you don't buy and outfit for the wedding ages in advance and plan to slim into it, because that would be dispiriting if you didn't quite make it to your goal in time and couldn't wear the dress.

I'm not doing too well at the moment, I put on 1.5 lbs at last night's weigh-in and I am voraciously hungry, especially for sweets/refined carbs. I'm hoping it's just totm, in which case it'll pass in a few days.

Essbee--- don?t know what to say except keep trying, please don?t fall back into habbit of not eating. Why not start afresh on Monday?

couldn't sleep...as usual!!
was talking about the wedges I made the other day, I had some more today too!! What an odd craving.
chinese, boiled rice instead of fried, wet dish intead of deep fried (mmmmm lemon chicken, prawn in batter ith bbq sauce.. ok not helping, sorry) ummm, veggies, chop suey,
of course it is easy to give out advice to someone else tho, I prob would succom and have chow mein!! ooohh and prawns in batter......
