Weight loss chat

Anyone else out there with 5 plus stones to lose? Who fancies doing a weekly weigh in with me?

I have got really overweight in the last couple of years and would love to meet some others who might be trying to cut down but not exactly dieting. Where do you start when there is so much to lose? Any tips on evening snacking? TIA

LOL...well have just ahd pasta with pepeprs and sweetcorn......am not feeling as full as i did the other week?....i AM full, but seem to be able to eat more? or maybe im not and the lesser amount is my 'normal' now, oh i dont know!..had some sugar fre red bull and im raring to go!.bbzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..off to nursey in 5, hope you al have good day!.x

maybe I culd use some red bull. I feel like death warmed up, though I am back on plan. I had baked beans on toasted numble for breakfast and have felt so ill since i haven't had anything else. Veg and pulse broth for tea.

i DONT LIKE MY SCALES ANYMORE!..got on this morn and they showed 15st 1lb..got on twice more to be sure..and just before got dressed got on ;ast time and theyd gone UP to 15st 5lb?????eh??scales were in same spot, i had same clothes on, not had breaky?????

I have learnt that if the scales say something in your favour the first time i jump on them, i dont then tempt fate and get on and off them a few more times lol. i only do that if they're not saying what i want them to!!

LOL, yeah but when i got on the time after, i would have thought id have put on!?..cant win...speaking of green air, ive just had beans and theyre killing me already!

Off to do weekly shop in min..what can i NOt be without this week, what should i buy??................

oh no i couldnt, habe abstained from choc for almost 6 weeks now, so one cooky could tip me over the egde..actually i HAVE had a couple of hi lihgts choc drinks, but last time i had one it made me feel sick it was so sweet!!..so maybe my choc/sweet tooth has gone???

am fed up this morn..got on scales(again) and it showed 15st 5lb..its been that since last week??..yest morn it was all over from 15 st 1lb to 15 st 6lb so no idea what going on, but am that there hasnt been a significant change this week, esp as all ive been able to eat mostly is alpen!????

right, have made myself two slices of toast with a million cherry toms sliced up and little sprinkle of grated cheese over the top with lots of pepper..its lovely and feel better actually eating something half decent that nothing or cereal!

HI everyone

Been to christening of my lovely little mindee today and broke my cho ban....i ate a (very small..i promise!) slice of some kind of choc/cream mouse cake kinda thing?, it was lovely, but im a bid now.i need to make sure im sorted as i cant just lose this and jack it in!

so i think ill do my what ive eaten today lists again if thats ok, even tho today was a party, i still think its neccesary!?

Breakfast - Alpen with S S Milk (i think alpen may be a prob, its not reduced sugar and ive been eting a lot of it, maybe this is contributing towards my slow loss??)

Lunch - 1 crumpet small scraping of butter

Dinner/party - small slice of corned beef pie(took edging crust off),
2 large prawns with blob of 1000 island on side,
half bun with no butter and slice of beef, cherry toms, carrot, pepper, cucumber.
then i had this piece of choc/cream mouse thingy..but i also had a J20 and red bull drink, both of which were full fat (which is a bug bear with me as i hate drinking anything full fat, its such a waste and if you can get the diet stuff theres no need), obv there wasnt anything diet today and it was this or alcahol, so i just had these two.

I didnt even eat my huge piece of cho/icing christening cake, i let dd and mindee eat it..and even though my greedy side is fighting lately, i DID not give in today and go back for more when everyone kept saying oh go get another plate, it will all waste if its not eaten..i was SO wanting some potato's in some lvoely dressing but as i had beef/corned beef/prawns i kind of though that = slimming world red day, so kept off the carbs???..i know not much of a consolation.

I know im going to be dissapointed this week, i REALLY need to sort my meals out again, maybe ill look back on here and see what i was eating 4-5 weeks ago and see if that helps.

urgh i feel sick and guilty now having eaten/drank allt hat crap

don't feel guilty pink, you had self-control is many many areas where I wouldn't have even tried. If you enjoyed what you ate then be happy taht you had a good day and enjoyed it and didn't overdo it.

I saw Dsis tonight and her face looks thinner, but couldn't say anything becuae DM was there (and also she didn't see that pleased to see me, but that's nothing to do with this thread so I won't dwell)

Tut families Ria..good on your sis but dont make that make you feel bad, she's getting help, you're trying to go it alone..even on these tabs im struggling right now!
but like i said to dp tonight, as cliche as it sounds im doing this as a way of life(eating better eating less) so if i have a bit of cake at a party, then so what?..i know it wont help my loss, but i dont wan to be miserable all the time, so allowing myself to do this rpevents me binging as i normally would!

I told dp today what i ACTUALLY weighed prior to losing..think he was shocked AND impressed by how much ive gone down..am hungry now though, so will try ad chose wisely

Well ive had a terrible week baby has been teething badly and having me up from 1 am til 4am - im telling you im in dispair! my weight i dont know what i weigh although last tues i did get weighed and hadnt put any on!! I feel so helpless with him as Ive given him everything he could possibly have but its just not happening - thing is I cant see any teeth coming through!! GRRRrrrrrrrr

I've just dug out old copies of "Slimming", unpopular as it may be now, calorie counting worked for me way before SW/WW, and I think I was almost a size 16 once. If I could just lose something it would spur me on to lose more. I don't think I will ever dare tell anyone in RL how much I weigh.
I might dust off Paul McKenna too, my willpower could do with a bit of a kicking. I am stuck in a circle and need to get out.

i hate to say it justria, but i took that slimthru and it booses me to loose weight needed a kickstart - and it worked

well I'm having another good Monday morning! Had a massive breakfast and I'm stuffed.

In the folder with my old magazines was some old "menu plans" I'd made. The last time I did calorie counting I was on the "lose between 1-3 stones" plan

My problem for today is: I have a bag of spinach lurking in the frigdge. What on earth shall I do with it? I've found a recipe for a potato & spinach bake, but it has cheese in, but maybe that with veg and a pork chop?

Re slimthru, I will look into it. I have a coulpe of "placebo" type products hidden in my cupboard but I didn't want to take anything until after my blood test (tomorrow), but after that I think I'll go with something. Maybe it would just alter my mindset enough, because on sheer willpower alone I'm failing miserably (and am pretty miserable).

Good luck for your weigh-ins.
BTW, I have gained 2lb, but DS2 has been fiddling with the scales

Had my weigh in today and i've lost another pound! That's 18 1/2 lbs so far! Yay!!
