I'm mid 50s and post menopausal. I'm finding it much harder to lose weight now than when I was younger. I've joined another thread but wondered if anyone in a similar situation would like to join me?

I was 13 stone 3lbs a few weeks back and now 13 stone 0.

SW 13st 3 and GW 12st

I've upped my exercise been walking more. Today I'm going to work more on upper body and stomach. Maybe a bit of yoga?

Anyone else?

I was on another similar thread and some women are saying they can only shift the belly fat by going down to 1000 calories a day or less! I really don't want to do that as my diet is pretty good on the whole.

I'm back doing 16/8. I'm rarely hungry on a morning anyway.

It's gra lot are still posting. Ita good way to keep a record isn't it?

I've started enjoying black coffee which is a revelation. And allowed 🙂

I've had some sort of hormonal shift. Hopefully won't be long term? My nipples were really tender and I had spotting yesterday. I'm 56! Seems OK today so hopefully it's settled?

Good luck everyone.

@Lentilweaver I don't think I could do 1000 calories a day! I could do it SOME days - but not consistently.

@alrightluv I tried black coffee, but it gave me heartburn. Tried some of the alternative milks, like soy and oats and they curdled...

Well, after a big bad week I'm at 11 stone 3 this morning. I could cry! Goal this week is to at least get under 11stone 2 again, then start all over again. Again.

Will keep posting here for accountability.

I've been on holiday so not weighing myself and eating more. Will weigh in tomorrow and face the music

Hello @wurlycurly Hope you had a great holiday. I'm still here...

I had a big birthday, a friend's birthday, two work things that involved cheese and biscuit and wine, a big family dinner.... I'd lost a few pounds and then put at least 5lbs back on, so have just this week started clawing my way back. I made it back to (one of) my starting point(s) of 11 stone 2.2 lbs, and have made it to 11 stone 1.4. My knee is still buggered so that's preventing me from getting much exercise done.

According to my app that's 4.9% progress over 31% of my expected time!

It's three weeks to Spring in Oz, so that is motivating me to keep trying..
