Nice one katy (is it too early to be singing "sisters are doing it for themselves?!" Well done to your dd too!

My dd is playing up because i won't let her out on the trampoline.........lol!!

fatkatyslim · 10/04/2008 07:15

get singing lovemygirls
why not let your dd have an early morning bounce? i had one pmsl

i meant to ask you,how are you going on with chewing your food more?everytime i have something to eat i suddenly remember after i have swallowed it lol

OP posts:
LoveMyGirls · 10/04/2008 07:54

I didn't let her because she wasn't dressed and hadn't had breakfast (no point dressing her before breakfast because she ends up covered in it lol) now she's just had breakfast and is dancing round the living room anyway

I had an early morning bounce with dp yesterday morning, it's a great way to start the day, releases all your feel good chemicals, makes you feel loved and close and then you get on better I think, really don't see why so many women don't want to do it more often, it's great for stress too!

Chewing food.....humm I did chew the steak and chips I had on saturday a lot more because I need it would take ages to digest but for salad i'm chewing normally other wise it turns into mush in your mouth and that is not nice! The type of food i'm eating don't require much chewing (porridge, tuna, salad, fruit, yogurt)

I've got af so that's buggered any chance of a decent loss this week! No chance of any extra exercise either now! Mind you i've been swimming 3 times this week and i've been good since saturday!

fatkatyslim · 10/04/2008 08:10

the way your going lovemygirls i reckon you'll have a good loss anyway
i'm off to get the boy's ready for school .have a great day x

fatkatyslim · 10/04/2008 19:31

Evening all

I have been in York all day at a meet up with some mums from my post natal thread on here

B - 1 w/m toast and flora light
L - burger and chips, 2 sm glasses white wine, homemade lemon and white choc cupcake I did leave most of the bread and there were only about a dozen chips and Ben had two of those
D apple (not hungry as it was a late lunch)

I've been on the go all day and felt too knackered to do anything on the XT About to go to bed now, I think I will sleep well tonight

LisaLessLumpy · 11/04/2008 09:48

Wow size 8 - Congratulations. Enjoy your day

Polly - Hope to see you back soon

Jahan · 11/04/2008 10:27

size 8!!wow well done! how long has it taken you to drop to that size?

how was the meet up Lisa? you sound like you're doing well.

I'm not doing too great with the diet due to the usual probs - continuously being woken and having to bf.

Lisa - after your post about the chilli, I tried ds2 on some of ds1's shepherds pie yesterday and he really seemed to enjoy it! he only had a bit but at least he didn't spit it out and cry like he was doing with his purees! I'll carry on with mashed food rather than puree.

I forgot that I'm going away next week to stay with family so I'll have to join ww the week after.

(sorry am typing with one hand hence lack of caps!)

LisaLessLumpy · 11/04/2008 15:00

The meet up was good thanks Jahan, we had burgers and wine

I have spent all morning icing a christening cake for tomorrow for my friends little boy. Blimey its hard work when you have a toddler that wants to help takes twice the time, but at least its done now

I'm glad your ds likes the shepherds pie, I am going to start giving Ben fingers foods more now

LoveMyGirls · 11/04/2008 20:12

Hi everyone,

Katy you really have doen so well, size 8! So you must be ready to stop now?

I've been for my weigh in and I've lost 2 and a half pounds this week, I'm so so chuffed but I'm just disapointed because my sister and I joined ww together and she hasn't lost as much as me and now she is upset (and I feel she's annoyed with me) we're supposed to be supporting each other but she has excuses for everything I suggest, the family party is next week and I think she is panicking, she's got the week off work so i've said I will take her a load of fruit and veg round tomorrow (she's working, i'm not and my dc's are away for the weekend) I've said we should exercise together but she won't have it and gets really stroppy with me saying I'm patronising her and trying to push her too hard, I just want to help her so she can lose weight faster like I am. I've sent her a text but she's ignoring me.

What would you all do? How can I help her or should I just stand back now and let her get on with it even if it means she has to keep going on her own when I don't need to go anymore (i'll probably go once a month just to keep things in check)

LisaLessLumpy · 11/04/2008 20:26

Let her get on with it, you have tried to help, if she won't help herself that's up to her.

susiecutiebananas · 11/04/2008 21:08

hey ladies

Are you all well? Fighting the Lbs still?

Isobel started walking yesterday! SO pleased with her, not as much as she is with herself!

AS for the diet.. well, I've been good... ish. Not too bad, but could be much much better. Just need another kick up the butt really. Not been well for what seems like a looong time now. Going for a load of tests next week. So, hopefully get some idea of what's going on. Hope its nothing that'll take too long to finally go!

SO really, not been eatig much at all, ad when I do, its probably not all SW friendly. HOwever, I am staying the same, weight wise, which is better than putting it on. Just need to start loosing again!

Nice to see you all here still, beig good, ad gettig results.
Sorry your not so good POlly.

LMG: Lisa is right, you have done all you can. She knows where you are, you can't do more than you are. She's just disappointed really, I'm sure.

hi ladies

sorry been off for a while- email/internet been down.
not chance to read thread but hope you are all well

i lost a lb last week and hoping beyond hope to lose another 2 this week but not sure its gonna happen. cos then finally finally i will be at my 10% goal . watch this space.

on a nother matter, remember i said we were selling our house etc etc? the house we wanted orig has now fallen through, another buyer came along and whipped it away. was gutted. but have now found somewhere so so much better! tho it is a bit of a Grand Designs project and we need to sort stuff out with local council as it is listed and we want to do some major work. but, if we eventually manage to sell ours, and we get the cottage, i will be beyond excited . its dream home (potentially- read 'money pit' as dh says)- devon longhouse, thatched, cottage garden, down a cobbled lane. with, get this, a mahoooosive garage thing that you can enter via the house which we want to tur into a hugggge kitchen/family room-modernish with glass roof. swwwwooooon.

fatkatyslim · 12/04/2008 12:27

hiya ladies,
the wedding was lovely.i ended up quite drunk and left at midnight lol

bel i'm so sorry your house fell through but they do say everything happens for a reason and it seems that you have found the house of your dreams.the glass roof sounds lush

lovemygirls,my sister is the same.it has taken her a year to lose a stone as she keeps gaining and losing the same few pounds.she goes from being pleased for me to jealous to not speaking.don't let her bring down your achievement.you have done fantasticaly well

i've only just got into size 8 jahan(and it was a stretchy one) it's taken me since june last year but i have only been really focused since i joined ww in jan.i only want to lose another few pounds but i'm going by how i feel now not the scales(i still like it when it shows that i['ve lost though)

lisalessbumpy dd loves finger foods.she eats so much more when she can do it herself.crumpets are a favourite at thre moment

thinking of you polly xx

i'm off to meet my sister in a minute.we are going shopping for her outfit for our party next week
can't believe i'm going to be 21 !! pmsl

susie, have you figured out who that chef is ????? i'm sure she made him up. hope the eagle lands xx

sorry lovemygirls...well done on your loss

OP posts:
LoveMyGirls · 12/04/2008 16:28

Thanks girls, you all sound like you are are on the right path too, bel well done and fingers crossed for you for getting to your 10% goal!

Katy sounds like you had a fab time and I hope you enjoy your shopping trip!

Susie what about trying the WW core plan? (i know you want to do SW) but from what i've read it would be so much easier for you to do the core plan which is basically eating a list of free foods so when you go shopping if you only buy what's free and the odd thing to go with them then you can't go wrong and pick at things you shouldn't or eat the wrong things on the wrong days or whatever, worth a thought maybe?
