fatkatyslim · 08/04/2008 10:25

think she's about that age susie.dh doesn't know i've posted about it ,he's on his xbox trying to shut it out until his mum phones

Doesn't mean its all bad though love. Honestly. Its possible ot have a stoke and especially the younger you are, ad make a complete full recovery, or have only minor problems related to it afterwards. Try and think positivly, along those lines until you really know. And tell A to as well.

Most people only ever think of the debilitating problems people are left with after srokes, as that is the most common experience, as that is more common in much older patients, who are the age population most of us only ever hear about having strokes. If you can make any sense of that?

Please call if oyu want to know anything.. i'll try to help.

Oh, what a bugger hey? I do hope she's ok, and its a minor one. Let me know when you can? ( if you want to of course! )

fatkatyslim · 08/04/2008 10:37

LisaLessLumpy · 08/04/2008 17:30

That's good news Katy, I'm surprised they let her home though

fatkatyslim · 08/04/2008 17:39

i know
they did all the tests and let her go.she has her son with her and her sister and bil live across the road so she is not alone but i would have thought that they would have at least get her in over night.

Go to bed katy, I'm not far off going myself. I'm the total opposite though, have been eating for england today, so don;t predict a loss tomorrow, what with AF too

fatkatyslim · 08/04/2008 21:01

i'm going as soon as dd does.she fell asleep after her walk before for half an hour so i'm hoping it will be in the hour

OP posts:
LoveMyGirls · 08/04/2008 21:18

what a day you've had katy, glad your sil is ok though!

I've been swimming for the 2nd day in a row!

B-porridge and honey
l-salad
snack- ww bar
dinner - jacket pot with soft cheese, bacon, mushrooms and loads of salad followed by ww yogurt, was lovely!!

Good luck for tomorrow katy!!

fatkatyslim · 09/04/2008 06:57

morning,
thanks lovemygirls
i really want to have a sneaky peak but i'll be happy with a sts this week with it being totm.i'll find out a t 9.30.
i hate weigh in day.i go through my wardrobe trying to decide what to wear.if i'm feeling really fat i wear my combats[extra light clothes ] but if i'm feeling thin i wear my jeans!
mental
i can't believe the rituals i go through before my weigh in.i also go to the loo at least 3 times before i leave the house lol

does anyone else do anything mad???

OP posts:
LoveMyGirls · 09/04/2008 07:09

I cant believe you ever wear jeans to a weigh in! I wear the same clothes i changed them once because my combats were far too baggy!

Everyone is complimenting me on how well i've done saying i look great so that's really nice. I'm looking forward to summer just need to get applying the bio oil so i can feel better about my tummy!

I think i'm going to only have a small treat this weekend and really try my best to get the rest off as soon as i can!

How much do you weigh now katy?

fatkatyslim · 09/04/2008 07:13

i'm 9st 11 now i want to be 9st 2(i'm never happy lol)
i wear jeans as 9 times out of 10 i go out after class and they are my wardrobe staple.
you have done amazing lovemygirls
you motivate me to keep on track.thanks x

LoveMyGirls · 09/04/2008 08:12

You have really helped me too! I am loving my thinner body, i feel so proud.

Think i'm going swimming again today if i've got time between dropping and picking dd up from brownies! (does anyone know what time it will finish if it starts at 5.45?) I'm thinking 7.15 which gives me enough time I think.

I think I need some exercises to concentrate on my tummy, anyone got any ideas apart from sit ups because they hurt my back?

LisaLessLumpy · 09/04/2008 08:43

I've stayed the same this week.

Right, time to be mega good again, I need a good loss next week to make up for this week

fatkatyslim · 09/04/2008 14:33

i lost a pound !!
can't believe it.i always gain or sts at totm so i'm gobsmacked.

lisa sts is great, you've got totm too haven't you?

lovemygirls, polly posted some excercises for the stomache ages ago.i'm sure if we ask her nicely she'll post them again

i'm being extra, extra good this week.it's my birthday next friday and if i lose 3 next week i'll be 9 1/2 st but if i lose 4 1/2 i'll have lost 2 stone .guess which one i;m aiming for

whose with me?

OP posts:
Jahan · 09/04/2008 15:35

I am exhausted!
I've not slept for the past week, I think.
ds2 has been feeding like a loon. he's been getting me up about 6 times a night.
I have been stuffing myself silly with cakes, biscuits etc you name it.

I seem to have lost a lb though! I must have needed all those cals. Now, I need to get back out of the habit of cakes in the afternoon.

I didn't join ww on mon as I was so tired (its at 9.30) but I fully intend to go next week.

Well done Katy and Lisa for loss and sts.

fatkatyslim · 09/04/2008 18:02

jahan you poor thing.all i can say is that it doesn't last forever.dd only gets up once or twice a night now
try and rest when you can.it's great that you have lost a pound.well done

update on sil...
doctor came this morning, couldn't believe that she wasn't in hospital and phoned an ambulance straight away(he arrived about 5 mins after we left, she looked shocking)apparently she didn't go to hospital yesterday she went to the doctors
she is now in hospital, she has had a full stroke not a mini stroke and is numb down one side.she was going for a cat scan earlier to see what damage has been caused so we are all just waiting for news.
sorry for the sad post

OP posts:
Jahan · 09/04/2008 18:28

So sorry to hear about your sil, Katy.
Thats shocking that the dr sent her home. How rubbish is that? Unbeleivable.
Hope she makes a full recovery.

fatkatyslim · 09/04/2008 18:33

thanks jahan
i thought she had been to hospital yesterday but she her bil took her to the doctors.
