my dh would be muttering about how mummy thinks mn is more imp than dd ....ooh theres the door....off to look harrassed and busy

susiecutiebananas · 07/04/2008 11:01

hi , i"m here too!

Izzy making a huge mess around my feet. She just managed to unwrap a lemon locket, and has actually sucked the whole thing thought it would be spat out straight away!
Nope, instead she's pottered round, putting incredibly sticky fingers on everything her height.

LisaLessLumpy · 07/04/2008 11:02

DS2 is having his morning nap, DS1 is watching a DVD I am pottering in between mn and sorting stuff out

susiecutiebananas · 07/04/2008 11:06

oh Katy, his phone went back on at about 9.30, and still no phone call to me. MAde me even more upset. at least I know he's ok now, well, at least alive... mixture of anger and really upset. Cant stop shivering.

Thanks both for reassurance re Isobel. I just worry, it seems to happen alot... wish I could lay on the floor and let her wander around me, she thinks it open season on pinching, hair pulling and general painful things like that. I get so fed up with it! She manages a bit eve if I'm on the sofa. Iv'e never fallen asleep on the sofa before last week , or the week before. INfact, as much as I have to lie on the bed, I ever sleep... wish i did! I find it hard to relax...

Your in B'ham aren't you POlly? could you go round to DH and kick him in the nipples? or, just run him over in your fab wheels ?

fatkatyslim · 07/04/2008 11:08

pollywobbledoodle · 07/04/2008 14:28

SPOTTYSHOES!! are you out there??

LisaLessLumpy · 07/04/2008 15:05

Bloody stand in doctor horrible man. I can't wait for my doctor (woman) to get back from China, I appreciate her even more now. I went in all friendly like, asking him if he was standing in for my doctor etc, he never cracked a smile. I felt on edge as soon as I went in. He didn't ask me what was wrong, just waited silently until I spoke. Didn't really help at all, only advice he offered was that they could do an mri scan or ultrasound, but nhs wouldn't fund it, so would have to go private as it was only for peace of mind. Did a cursory check of movement on the couch, which didn't hurt at all, I told him I was just being cautious and that it was uncomfortable but not enough to take painkillers. I wanted some advice on my running, as to whether I could keep it up or not, he just said that it was likely a sprain, not to run the race this year and to lose some weight that's why I wanted to run you moron Aaarrrrgghh! can't put in to words how stupid he made me feel. Anyway I am still going to train but take it more slowly and see what happens. He didn't even suggest any exercises to do that might help. F**ker, he has made me angry. On the way out I told the receptionist that I didn't like him and she agreed with me.

susiecutiebananas · 07/04/2008 21:38

Was he actually a doctor? you can't sprain a hip! jeez... also, i'd have thought an XRAY a sensible first step! MRI scan, last resort! good god. Go and see another GP, preferably one with a sensible head on!

You are loosing weight anyway, and it wouldn't just acutely hurt like that if it was weight related, you'd have had a chronic pain that gradually got worse... I feel really cross for you, and frustrated!

Ive just had half a lasagne, as i'd not eaten since yesterday, other than a few oatibix this morning.

ever so down. tonsillitis not improving, temp keeps spiking. Feel crappy. DH still not made contact. Arsehole. he does it because he knows i always just give i and end up being pleased to see him etc... shit head. So angry with my self for letting myself be in this position yet again

Argggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhh

not sure if that helps, but worth a try!

LoveMyGirls · 08/04/2008 08:13

LLL - What an arse!

Susie - really angry on your behalf, what an absolute git! Don't be angry with yourself, use your anger to lose weight and look better and boost your confidence! What are you going to do about him?

LisaLessLumpy · 08/04/2008 08:22

Susie - sorry your dh is such an arse, men are so insensitive sometimes

Regards the doctor, he was a total nob end. Next time I go in I'll tell them not to let him cover again . My hip is feeling much better actually, I also did 25 mins on the cross trainer last night. I am going to book in to see a physio aswell, I have problems with my right shoulder too, so it could all be related, hopefully they will be able to do something

fatkatyslim · 08/04/2008 09:08

lisa your doctor sounds like a right knob!
obviously you just went to see him as you had nothing better to do
i glad it's feeling a little better.when's your proper doctor back?

susie

LisaLessLumpy · 08/04/2008 09:11

Not sure when she is back, probably another couple of weeks. I'll make sure to tell her what he was like

Hope your head is better soon, never experienced a migraine, but my mum has lots and she gets really poorly and sick with them, so I hope I never experience one

susiecutiebananas · 08/04/2008 09:19

Morning all

still no word from dick head DH actually that stands for Dick Head doesn't it ? DH? hmmmm

Throat killing me still.

Izzy did a lovely poo on the chair, after a horse wee on the floor, lucky KAty was 'present' for both!!! Lucky luck girl you know you are very privileged Katy, to have been so involved with both events!! including hearing it fall into the pan!!! i'm so sorry you had to hear that!

fatkatyslim · 08/04/2008 09:21
