LoveMyGirls · 21/05/2008 20:44

YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM I love crumble!

I'm having jacket pot with quorn chilli
B was porridge
L- philli on crackers with cucumber then banana
3 jaffa cakes (whoops)
ww bar

Not too bad on the whole! Plus i've walked a bit this afternoon and played on wii fit (did 2300 metres in 10 mins plus boxing and hula hoop!)

Going to have my dinner now then have a bath and de-hair ready for my fake tan tomorrow! (also having my hair done!)

LoveMyGirls · 21/05/2008 20:46

OP posts:
Jahan · 21/05/2008 21:18

Didn't manage to get to the gym
dh managed to get back at 7.30 but the kids were still up and have drained me today. I am really tired and have no energy for gym.
Diet was on track though.

LMG - how exciting! you'll be a new woman!

How's it going Katy?

LoveMyGirls · 21/05/2008 21:18

Good for you Katy (didnt know if he was trying to wheedle his way back in!) Glad to hear you're handling it really well and staying strong - you go girl!

I'm really excited about our weekend away it's going to be so nice not to have to rush about or do anything for anyone or clean or cook ........... not so sure dp is going to propose though we're really broke so don't think we can afford a ring and he has always said if and when we do get engaged it will be done properly, it's a shame because it would have been great to tell everyone he proposed in amsterdam rather than in a pub down the road or something (my last and only marriage proposal so far was in the local park then to wetherspoons for food I should have known then he was a waste of space - well i did know but I was young and stupid!)

I'm really happy anyway at the moment, everything is fab so as long as we have a nice time and don't argue I'll be fine.

I'm really going to miss our dd's but they're going to be having such a great time and I really am going to try and make the absolute most of having some time to ourselves, will be nice not to have to get up so early and to be able to sit down as soon as I finish work without having to do bathtime and homework and sorting their stuff for the next day or cleaning the mountains of mess they make I wouldn't wanna live like that forever but it's going to be great to have a proper break.
We're so lucky pil are offering to look after our dd's for 2 whole weeks, most people never get help like that and they've paid for it all including buying both dd's loads of summer clothes/ sun cream etc

Jahan · 21/05/2008 21:19

Sorry Katy, just seen your message above.
It took me 20mins to type that!

LoveMyGirls · 21/05/2008 21:20

How old are your dc's Jahan?
Any chance of buying a wii fit instead of gym membership?

Jahan · 21/05/2008 21:24

Dss are 3yrs1m and 7m.
Oh yes, every chance of a wii fit!
I insist.
Should be getting one soon. I also want to try to do that couch to 5km plan people are raving on about. I'm trying to get a friend to do it with me as I know I'll always be 'too tired' to do it by myself!
How are you finding it? does it actually feel like proper exercise?

Jahan · 21/05/2008 21:25

I mean the wii of course

LoveMyGirls · 21/05/2008 21:29

You have to be strict with yourself but you can burn calories and it does help to motivate you. I'm just thinking if your dh isn't home on time a lot of the time it's pretty pointless having gym membership when you could just use the wii fit and swimming and perhaps an areobics class this is what I've been doing plus walking when I get the chance and it is coming off.

To be fair to you, you do have a 7mth old and that is tiring esp if breastfeeding (so i've heard, never managed to bf my 2 for the long infact I didn't bf dd2 at all) plus waking in the night/ teething etc if you can just manage a walk round the block it will help then if your dh get shome in time you could do swimming I used to say i'd do 20 lengths then get out so could be there and back in an hour.

LoveMyGirls · 21/05/2008 21:32

Getting in the bath now as it's getting late and I want a fairly early night, starting work at 7.15am [yawn!]

Will be around tomorrow night night girls and keep it up!!

Oh just for the record my stomach is feeling a lot better, I'm starting to feel more toned now, I think if/ when I get down to 9 st I will stop being so strict.

fatkatyslim · 21/05/2008 21:33

it's great that you managed to keep your diet on track jahan.that's half the battle won x

Just done measurements and checked back against the last time I did it which was when I was 12st 8, so just over a stone and I have lost...

2 inches off boobs
1 1/2 inches off ribcage (just under boobs)
3 1/2 inches off my belly would have liked more...
5 inches off my hips (taking in love handles)
1/2 inch off tops of arms
2 1/2 inches off bum (widest part)
1 1/2 off each thigh (could do with lots more }
1 1/4 inches off my knees

A grand total of 17 3/4 inches

Jahan · 21/05/2008 21:44

The gym is literally round the corner. I can usually make it 2x a week. 1 is usually Sat morning. The membership was cheap and I have paid for the year.
Swimming is an effort for me as I wear lenses and can see jack without them. Plus I hate the condition my hair gets in. Plus I'm not a very good swimmer either!
I really want to do some improver lessons but again, it means dh would have to be home in time. sigh.

LisaLessLumpy · 21/05/2008 21:48

You sound exactly like me regarding swimming Jahan, they are all my excuses plus I don't like getting my body out

fatkatyslim · 21/05/2008 21:49

Jahan · 21/05/2008 21:56

My dd's have just gone and I'm crying already I know they will b fine I know they will have a fab time and I know I need a break and I'm really lucky to be able to have a break and they will soon be back driving me round the twist - so why am I crying?

Jahan · 22/05/2008 12:10

Aaah! Of course you'd cry. Its not regularly that they go off for 2 weeks. You know you'll miss them.
They'll have a great time, I'm sure.
How old are they?
