My eldest one is nearly 9 and will be fine (she's been abroad twice for 2 weeks each and loved it) dd2 is only 2 and a half and I'm with her all day everyday and she's so little.

LoveMyGirls · 22/05/2008 19:09

Feeling bit better now though still slightly nervous as they are still on the plane at the mo!

I feel like a new woman, I've had my hair and tan done now, the girls were saying they can't believe how much weight i've lost etc plus the skirt i wore I haven't worn for about 4 weeks and it was falling down as i walked doen the street - it is a size 14 so must be near to getting into a 12 now!

I've just ordered a pizza though - not the best thing to do I suppose but kids are not here, dp wont cook I can't cook or i'll get my hands wet and ruin my fake tan!

LisaLessLumpy · 22/05/2008 20:39

I have had a good shopping day ds2 was absolutely golden too, I walked round town for almost 5 hours
For the wedding I am going to in Sept I have bought this and the bag it shows on the left. It fits now and looks fine but is snug so I can still carry on losing weight and it will just look even better I nearly bought some shoes from next but thought I would try some shoes I have at home... they don't look right so I went to order them over the internet but is says they are sold out so I am going back to town tomorrow to get them otherwise I'll regret it shoes will match the hat which is cream.

I also bought a black dress from H&M and some bright red patent shoes from red herring to go with it these for my london trip. Also bought some cream flats to wear with my linen trousers and some black linen mix trousers. Had to dip into my savings to pay for it all though, probably not wise seeing as DH is going to have to take a pay cut due to the current climate Oh well, I am all set for the summer now so can cut back now

So done loads of walking and had a good diet day too.

b toasted teacake and flora light
l tuna sarnie from starbucks on malted brown bread, 300 cals, plain black coffee and bottle of sparkling water
s 1 maryland choc chip cookie
d salmon fillet with carrots, baby courgettes, spring onion, ginger and lemon. 6 small potato wedges.

LMG - I would have thought you would easily be in a 12 by now! Bet you are looking fab with your hair and tan

pollywobbledoodle · 22/05/2008 21:00

Nope still can't get into my bloody size 12's they do go on and fit when i'm standing up but sitting down my stomach just looks and feels awful so no way i'm going to comfortable enough in them to sit on a plane in them! Nevermind my 14's are comfy and I think that's more important than the label

Only got 1 mindee today and he's only here until 12ish got my nail appt at 1.30 then my mum is coming to help me make sure i havent forgotten anything important like passports and then drive me to the airport, can't believe at some point today I will be in the air (its been 10 yrs since i was last on a plane)

Got loads to get done before we go, I haven't packed or got any euro's and need to get mindee a birthday present so i'll have to go into town at some point.

What are you all doing today?

fatkatyslim · 23/05/2008 08:28

hi lmg.
i hope you have a fantastic weekend.you'll look stunning whatever size your clothes are and your right, comfort is better than size on a plane
i bet you can't believe it's finally here!

i'm in a bad mood today.the kids told me this morning that they need things for school TODAY!!!!!
dd has been up half the night whinging and i'm knackered!!
oh well ,it can only get better lol

if i don't catch you later have a fantasic weekend xxxxxx

fatkatyslim · 23/05/2008 17:53

nope, not guilty lol.i'm not going for a couple of weeks.don't worry,i'll warn you first
enjoy the flicks x

good morning slinky ladies
is everyone going to stay on track over the bank holiday?

OP posts:
LisaLessLumpy · 24/05/2008 08:22

Yesterday
b - 3 weetabix, hot water and half spoon sugar
l - 2 ryvita, jam and cottage cheese, pkt French Fries, special K bliss cereal bar.
d - 10oz jacket spud, cottage cheese and salad. Rosemary Conley Choc Mousse (only 120 cals for a big pot of gorgeous choc mousse
s - half a bag of aero bubbles, friend bought round for ds but he didn't like them I did throw away the other half though

ds2 has been throwing up all day! he has his bottle and food ok, but then instantly throws the lot back up! doesn't seem ill in himself though, very strange, he has also had two very runny nappies which is unusual for him. Same has happened this morning, he was very excited about having his bottle, but then threw up half it immediatley after... any ideas?

LisaLessLumpy · 24/05/2008 08:23

I am going to give it a damn good try katy, don;t want to spoil the week for the sake of a day

fatkatyslim · 24/05/2008 08:30

your poor ds2 lll.could be a 24hour stomach bug? hope he feels better soon.
i think i'm going to do a mini detox this weekend
lot's of water, fruit and veg.i stayed up really late last night cleaning the house
whenever i try and do it properly(instead of just skimming the surface dd causing havoc)it was heaven to wake up to a clean shiny house
it may just be my new hobby
i'm going to strip the beds once ds2 is up.i feel like i'm cleansing the house of h.
or maybe i'm just being odd lol

lunch....pint of cider and a ploughmans(didn't use the butter and gave away a load of the cheese) and shared a choccie pud

eve... will prob be a chinese with my mate(i will not eat banana fritters!)

lisa...sounds like either a tummy bug or that thing some kids do of eating/drinking really quickly then chucking it back...my friends little girl never seemed ill when she had a tummy bug

good luck with detox katy....might join you sunday

pollywobbledoodle · 24/05/2008 14:17
