Hey all, I started wegovy 0.25 last week and I've already lost 3.6lbs since Thursday, that's after a year of nothing. I was losing weight a few years ago, I was 280 lbs and dropped to 200 but since I hit that number I couldn't lose anymore, I tried different diets etc but it just wouldn't budge :S for about 16 months I've been trying but lowest I got to was 198lbs(atleast I never gained a lb back haha.)

Well today I hit 193 lbs after being on wegovy for a week!! 😁 I was sceptical as honestly I didn't want to spend £170 a month but it's so worth it if it's actually going to help get this weight off.

I'll keep updated with how it goes from here.

Hi everyone,

I started WeGovy a few weeks ago and lost around 10lbs in the first month. I felt incredibly sick for a few days during the last week on 0.25, so much so that I was worried about moving up to 0.5. However I have had absolutely no symptoms 2 weeks into 0.5. My appetite has not really decreased and I have lost no weight. Has anyone had any experience of this? I’m feeling slightly disheartened.
Thank you x

This happened to me and it turned out to be a thyroid issue. I was medicated and lost the excess weight. What's your issue with that?

@Watchkeys you just sound jealous and bitter rather than supportive and interested. I'll eat my shoes if you are your ideal weight, perfectly happy in yourself with the way you look and have no issues.

Regarding the potential cancer risk of Wegovy - I understand that 13 cancers are directly associated with obesity. And of course, stroke, heart attack, etc

Eat your shoes then, I don't mind. I'm a Personal Trainer and I run marathons. Pretty happy with my body, but it did change when my thyroid levels dipped. I've seen first hand evidence with many clients of what I'm saying. For many, it's the acceptance that, although they've been telling themselves they're making healthy choices, they actually haven't been, that starts their success.

Your perception of me as jealous and bitter probably means you'll never employ me as your PT, but never mind :) It is just one perception. Enjoy your snack!
