Thanks @Projectme I agree, I haven’t been paying too much attention to the tutorial videos as it’s information I don’t feel I need. I know how to eat healthily, I just can’t seem to do it!
Having said that, I’m a week in now and I’m absolutely amazed by the impact listening to that pod seems to have made.
I didn’t have any chocolate at all yesterday and I’ve had hardly any all week. Previously, I was eating well in excess of 1000 calories of chocolate every single day, without fail.
I’m not snacking so much and if I do, I’m reaching for the fruit bowl or having just one biscuit. Earlier in the week I took a bite of a biscuit and simply didn’t want the rest.
Totally ashamed to say I was drinking 2.5L of Diet Coke a day before. For me, Diet Coke and chocolate were a match made in heaven and I’d have both in unlimited amounts, and stress if I didn’t have any in the house. Yesterday, I had one can of Diet Coke and haven’t had any since. I don’t want it either.
I have started planning all my meals, finding new recipes, and cooking proper meals again.
I’m usually pretty sceptical about this kind of thing but after so many years of trying to lose weight, I needed to keep an open mind to this to make sure I maximised my chances of it working. So perhaps it’s the fact I’m telling myself it’s working that means it’s working? Either way, I can honestly say I’m not:
following a meal plan,
counting calories,
consciously thinking “I’m going to be good day”
I honestly think it’s working. My subconscious is winning more and more and I find myself naturally making healthier choices.
I’m actually quite stunned.
