Should I take another diet pill if I’ve vomited

Hi mums I’m on diet pills and I took one about 40 minutes ago on an empty stomach however I have just vomited clear acid and I can see bits of blue and white bits floating around the capsules are blue and white and im afraid the white bits might be the contents of the capsule should I take another? They are once a day pills

Lollibert · 09/02/2024 10:49

Speak to the Doctor who prescribed them to you to ask for their advice.

MrsKwazi · 09/02/2024 10:53

What’s the pill?

rooftopbird · 09/02/2024 10:54

Best ask the doctor who prescribed them not us.

Lollibert · 09/02/2024 11:01

@MrsKwazi EPH Bomb thermogenics appetite suppressant is what it says on the bottle i ordered online they are working really well for me but I’m worried because I’ve vomited that they won’t work today

SoftandQuiet · 09/02/2024 11:04

No don’t take another, there’s no way of knowing how much youve already absorbed. Why have you vomited? Do you think it might be caused by the pills?

Shopper727 · 09/02/2024 11:08

Usually you’d only repeat a medication after vomiting if you vomit immediately after taking it so not 40 mins. So no, take next one at usual time.

MrsKwazi · 09/02/2024 11:09

I tried to google, so it contains caffeine and or some sort of epinephrine?
I would skip it. You don’t know what has been absorbed yet. I know you may be desperate for weight loss op, but these kind of tablets are not going to do it for you. They’re stimulants.

saladcruncher · 09/02/2024 11:15

Don't take it again. If it's got a capsule around the actual drug contents, this is to keep the drug intact until it reaches your stomach.

If you're already vomiting then your stomach has been aggravated by something and adding a second pill won't improve it's condition - especially if it contains caffeine

Lollibert · 09/02/2024 11:23

@MrsKwazi stimulant diet pills are the only ones that work for me, the ones that only suppress appetite don’t work, because for me it doesn’t matter if I’m hungry I eat because I crave food all the time hungry or full, I use to have it under control and maintained a healthy weight for years but it seems the willpower I use to have is completely gone so diet pills that contain caffeine work great for me because for some reason I don’t think about food when I take them even forget to eat which never happens I’ve been on them a couple of weeks now and for the first time yesterday I tried to. See if I could do it without them I did great all day until night came when I got really hungry and I tried to eat fruit but it didn’t work I ate 4 tangerines, and a pack of grapes and still was craving food I was going to order a pizza, but instead I 3 slices of bread and had to go to bed because I knew if I stayed up any longer I was going to order that pizza

On line? They could be dodgy

Lollibert · 09/02/2024 11:27

@SoftandQuiet no I don’t think it’s the pills I vomit sometimes when I’m hungry right now I am avoiding breakfast because I’m trying to stick to one meal per day, and I’d rather one meal that satisfies me instead of a few small meals that won’t so I’ve been skipping breakfast instead having a big dinner i am trying to eat the recommended amount of protein a day so if my meal falls short I drink a protein shake to make up for it

OP posts:
Lollibert · 09/02/2024 11:30

@Moier tbh They work and that’s all I care about I use to take phentermine and they work amazing but I can’t afford them anymore they £120 for a one month supply the ones I have now are much more affordable and they are working for me and seem very similar to phentermine which I like

Aren't these type of stimulants bad for your heart?

Maybe a bit simplistic but if caffeine curbs your appetite, would a few cappucinos help? I find that cappucinos or lattes reduce my appetite.

MiltonNorthern · 09/02/2024 11:36

Don't take another. Someone died from overdosing on those thermogenic pills, just write off today

Knittedfairies2 · 09/02/2024 11:37

Buying pills online without a prescription is unwise to say the least, and is probably not a sustainable way to lose weight and keep it off, but if you are adamant this is the way forward for you, missing one day shouldn't make much difference.

You need 'won'tpower' rather than 'willpower'.

Lollibert · 09/02/2024 11:39

@Wishimaywishimight I’ve never had any heart issues with them my aunt did try them and she said they made her heart race and she couldn’t sleep but that didn’t happen with me my heart didn’t race and I slept like a baby I don’t really feel any caffeine effects from coffee or cappuccinos or even red bull I can drink a can of red bull and go to bed and sleep like a baby, I use to use pro plus for dieting but after awhile I had to take more and more to feel any effects so I stopped taking them because I think I must’ve become immune or something

Woah as in speed? Old school! My mum used to get tenuate dospan off a dodgy gp in Ilford before he was exposed in the News of the World. Not sure about the weight loss but man we had a clean house

Blughbablugh · 09/02/2024 11:45

Only eating one meal a day, taking pills you got online and being sick because you are hungry. I'm sorry OP but this sounds very unhealthy and surely something you can't sustain for any length of time.

Lollibert · 09/02/2024 11:47

@Knittedfairies2 i have been prescribed a few different pills now from my GP they just don’t work for me and it’s not like I cook unhealthy meals, I think I cook quite healthy I rarely fry any foods, most of the food I cook is different types of stews it’s the snacking I have no control over I’ll eat packets and packets crisps, chocolate fizzy drinks etc I’ve tried not buying them but as soon as the craving hits I just order them with Uber eats

OP posts:
imnotsickbutimnotwell · 09/02/2024 11:48

Totally not sustainable and you have no idea what these pills are doing to you or the long term effects. People have died taking these sort of things. They have made you sick and you want to take more? Throw them in the bin and spend the money on therapy to help you understand why you are emotionally eating.

Lollibert · 09/02/2024 11:49

@Blughbablugh last time I did this diet I maintained it for 5 years (without the help of diet pills)

Lollibert · 09/02/2024 11:51

@MadamVastra phentermine doesn’t contain any amphetamines

OK but you've already identified that snacking is the problem and so you need to sort this out rather than taking dodgy pills off the Internet. A change in eating habits is much safer and more sustainable than popping pills. How you go about that is by being more mindful about what you eat. If it's because you are hungry then you need more protein rich foods to sustain you. If its boredom then you need to look at that.
