Hi mums I’m on diet pills and I took one about 40 minutes ago on an empty stomach however I have just vomited clear acid and I can see bits of blue and white bits floating around the capsules are blue and white and im afraid the white bits might be the contents of the capsule should I take another? They are once a day pills

Sounds like if you are eating sweets and fizzy drinks and chocolate etc then you have a sugar addiction. Maybe read up on that and try to wean yourself off it. Note that often artificial sweeteners also can also cause the same effects so don’t just switch to those as a replacement for sugar.

But it’s not real hunger it’s cravings for sugary things from what you have said? Try therapy or hypnosis or try to wean yourself off these foods that have no nutritional value.

Phentermine is an amphetamine isn't it?

lalalala2 · 09/02/2024 12:10

You need to read back all your responses

You have an unhealthy attitude to dieting

turnitonon · 09/02/2024 12:13

Diet pills are ridiculous
Eat less ,go for walks, try and get 10,000 steps
Find your tdee and eat a calorie deficit
Honestly throw them away

mitogoshi · 09/02/2024 12:22

Just take tomorrow off, one day won't hurt, self control today.

I do get it, I have terrible self control with food to the extent there's nothing sweet in the house, no crisps either

@Blughbablugh last time I did this diet I maintained it for 5 years (without the help of diet pills)

Why are you doing it again?

spicedlemonpie · 09/02/2024 12:48

I wouldnt take any diet pills they can be dangerous especially if bought online.
I lost weight by healthy eating and no junk but i had to change my mind set first.
Maybe you could try meal replacement drinks.

Lollibert · 09/02/2024 12:51

@outdepth because it was the only diet that ever worked for me I’m just finding it very hard to stick to it on my own which is why I got diet pills,I don’t remember finding it this hard when I was this diet I remember thinking it was quite easy and something I could probably do for the rest of my life pregnancy and having a baby and my eating habits just went tits up I literally have no control now but I don’t think it’s a bad diet or unhealthy my calorie deficit is 1000 calories, the meal I eat along with a protein shake is about that sometimes a little more sometimes a little less, Sundays are my cheat days so I can have all my favorites on a Sunday I don’t plan on taking diet pills long term I just want to get myself back into the routine of eating one meal a day and get myself use to it again once I feel confident enough I will stop taking diet pills I want to go back to having a healthy BMI my BMI is currently 30 so I am considered obese

Diet pills do not work... Well some do but you'd need to see your friendly neighbourhood gym bro in order to source these.

Peridot1 · 09/02/2024 13:10

You are craving snacks because you are not eating enough and more importantly not eating healthy nutritious food. Your body is crying out for proper food and you are confusing that with craving crappy snacks.

If you ate three healthy nutritious meals a day within a sensible calorie deficit you would lose weight and not crave crap and not need dangerous diet pills. You need high fibre and protein with lots of vegetables and some fruit.

MeMyBooksAndMyCats · 09/02/2024 13:13

Goodness sake, if you've ordered them off the internet god knows what will be in them!

Bin them, and diet properly. You CAN diet without stupid random pills that will probably end up killing you.

MeMyBooksAndMyCats · 09/02/2024 13:15

Also if you're eating whatever you want on the Sunday, but starving yourself the other 6 days your body will cling to all those carbs & fats and keep it in its fat stores as your effectively starving yourself to death.
Go to the gp and ask for a healthy way to diet.

imnotsickbutimnotwell · 09/02/2024 13:21

Diet pills are stimulants, when I took stimulants 20+ years ago all I wanted to eat the next day was crappy food and sugar. These pills are probably the cause of all your cravings. That and the fact you are not eating enough nutritious food.

Also the very questionable way these pills are made in probably very unhygienic places with no hygiene or quality control. No wonder you are vomiting OP.

It hasn't worked though.

Gribbie · 09/02/2024 16:22

The lack of effect caffeine has on you and the snacking makes me wonder if you have ADHD. Have you considered this? As for the diet - have you tried low carbing? It works well for me.

@Lollibert
Diet pills or no diet pills, if you are disciplined during the week, but binge on all your favourites on a Sunday, you will be undoing your calorie deficit, so it's pointless.

If you are at your ideal weight and are controlled during the week, then have a day off at the weekend, no harm done, would most likely maintain your weight.

Do not only ate your very likely undoing your hard work trying to lose weight with the food side of things, you're also wasting money on pills and potentially doing unseen harm to yourself.

You don't need to be - look at inattentative ADHD. I might be completely wrong though.
