Anyone else starting their weight loss journey tomorrow?

I haven’t been on a diet in years because I haven’t felt motivated and I knew I wouldn’t stick it out.

I am now feeling 100% motivated and absolutely can’t wait to start!

I haven’t weighed myself in a couple of months but I’m around 16 and a half stone (231 pounds), I’ll weigh myself tomorrow morning and that will be my starting weight. When I first met my husband 13 years ago I was 11 stone however I’m not fussed about being that small again, I’d be delighted to be 13 stone.

Would love to hear if anyone else is starting tomorrow and we could share weight losses/recipes/meal plans/motivation!

I've lost 4lbs on my first week! Quite pleased as I baked with ds yesterday and had to taste test a muffin or two, then I cheated and had pizza for dinner!

Dh & I are going away next Thursday- Sunday for a weekend break (our first time ever away from ds) so I'm determined to be really strict until then.

Well done everyone else who's lost, its such a good feeling isn't it! Is anyone else adding in any other self care/good habits too? Skincare etc?

I started again last week. I've lost 4lbs! Don't know from where but I make sure to pack a healthy lunch for work at night as working nights at the minute and drink plenty of water. I drink nearly 3 litres a day and snack on fruit if I get hungry. I'm loving watermelon 🍉 at the moment . I was 11st and I'm now 10st 10lbs . Hopefully lose at least a stone before my holiday in May. I've just not got time for the gym anymore now I'm doing school pick up and working alot of hours

I last 5lbs in my first week and have gained it back in my second week :-/ hoping it’s at least a downward trend

How is everyone getting on? I lost 4lbs in Jan and about half of Feb but have got my act together and have now lost almost a stone.

Starting weight 148
Current weight 136

I’ve only lost about half a stone in 8 weeks, but I’ve not especially tried as I’ve had quite a lot of stress and some big events on. My appetite is much smaller but I still get hungry and feel nauseous when I don’t eat. I also have turned off food a bit which annoyingly means I can only really stomach starchy, Carby foods and snacking instead of cooking meals a lot of the time, whereas I usually eat a lot more vegetables and structured meals. Also it’s done nothing to suppress my appetite for wine unfortunately, but here’s hoping that going into week 9 and starting 1mg after poor results so far gives me a kick up the arse. I’ve also discovered that protein drinks are way better than they used to be so I’m going to try and get into those for brunch this week to try and speed things up a bit. Genuinely it feels like if I had the put the effort in I’d have lost plenty because it would probably be like dieting on east mode if I wasn’t hoping for the injection to do all the work for me!

I got down to 9 stone 6 lbs (target is 9 stone 5 lbs)
But then I was ill and put on 3 lbs!! (Still had an appetite but didn't move for the best part of a week! 🙈)

So trying to shift those added lbs now. Such a rollercoaster.

Anyone still around?
I have 6 weeks before my holiday and want to lose 3lbs.
Sounds totally doable right???!
What are your top tips?
I definitely think I need to cut down on my snacking and increase drinking water...
