I was doing slimming world until last night. I was doing it since June and haven't lost a single pound since Aug.

I think it's time for change. I am starting WW on Tuesday. Any body else up for joining me.

Good luck with the weigh-ins, mine is later this evening, feeling a bit bloated today so might not be much - I always find there will be one week where I don't lose anything cos of time of the month

I am going out for Lebanese food tomorrow night and will probably pile on the points... am using the eating guide for Greek food as a guide, but just going to focus on not overeating more as I love Middle Eastern food and would normally just stuff myself.... on the plus side there will be a belly dancer so can burn off some cals.

Lucky you, MM, I'd love an evening out! Stock up on salad during the day so you save points for the evening. (Wow, bet you'd never have thought of that!)

I'd actually miscalculated the points of my lovely salad. Still, 8 points, but not as bad as I had feared.

I'm drinking bulmers light at the moment , not so nice , would love an indian meal - yum. But no, got to be good!

Lost 1 pound yesterday, not v. much seeing as I had been good all week, but I'm still feeling bloated so hopefully will lose a bit more next week

the WW frozen chicken curry is pretty decent (and I hate ready meals); also had the M&S Green Thai Curry and fell in love.

1 pound is great! well done.

Hey ladies...

Had my night out last night.... think i ate more than is hould have but i know i didnt overindulge and said no to baklava for the first time in my life.

Went to Nandos with hubby today but have pointed for it so should be ok.

Fingers crossed for Tuesday weigh in.

Hello, I started WW (again) last tuesday so thought I'd join this thread for a bit of support.

I went on to the WW website and was a bit annoyed that I couldn't access it without paying every month, why can't WW members use the stuff on line too? I paid enough for the first class!!

Anyway, I've just about managed to get over the trauma of the weigh in, I was very shocked though I knew I'd been stuffing myself for ages and my clothes were all too tight.

So, I want to lose 3 stone 13.5 (how did that happen!) adn I've been trying sooooo hard all week. I've tried to do the kick start on 18 points, but I've been used to eating so much that it feels like I'm starving! So after the weigh in on Tuesday morning I'll be able to eat 22 points. Can't wait.

If you get the monthly pass thing, you only pay £4 ish a week and you get the site for free

Hi 2girls. The first week - 2 weeks are always the hardest but you will get through it. I eat about a third less than I used to and don't seem to get that hungery any more. Diet drinks, tea & coffee are good for getting rid of any hunger pangs.

Hope you don't mind me joining you!
I joined WW last Friday (am doing points) I have 2 stone to lose (as a mini challenge I want to lose a stone before my 36th birthday in 7 weeks time)
I'm upp'ing my exercise (through walking) and trying to save up a few points so I can have a few glasses of wine at the weekend.

Off to have my fruit and fibre.

One quick question : Do you count cups of tea/coffee (I add semi skimmed milk) I've looked through the book and can't find it so I've been adding 0.5 of a point each time.. Is that right?

Hi Sagacious and welcome.

For tea and coffee you point your milk and sugar (if you have any) or you can use sweetner and thats free.

With my milk, I aways count half a pint a day. I put some on my cereal and the rest in tea.

I am going to WW tonight. I have PMT and although I have not cheated I don't feel light today

Well I'm keeping to it (treated kids to an icecream after school and I had a 0.5 mini milk it was scrum haven't had one in years)

Forget to tell you all I lost 3lb last week so total of 17lb now...on a mission to lose 11lb before my holiday in 6 weeks!
Butter ban for me and now on the flora extra light until holiday.

evening everyone. its been so long since i have been on here i had lost the thread!
hello to all the new ladies, hope you are all well, and the old ladies too

i am having a hard time lately, i just seem so hungry all the time and my crap planning leads to me eating what i shouldnt.
today was excellent till it came to 4.30, i was at work and starving so ate 3, yes 3 packets of crisps.
i am not proud of myself!

oh, and forgot to say i had booked a last minute holiday for me dd and dh, going to benidorm for 4 days on monday, but i am going with the bast intentions. i never want to eat stodgy food when its hot, so will have plenty of salad and excersise, hopefully

I have made the mistake of not noting anything down anymore so am a bit stuck. From today I am going to write down everything that passes my mouth. When I did this I lost 2lb a week but since stopping I have stayed the same.

Does anyone have a magic little pill that you take at night and in the morning your 4st lighter

I've just had salmon steaks and salad for dinner, I thought it was a medium size (3.5 pts)but when i've put in the weight in my tracker its really 8 points

THE PORTION SIZEs THEY GIVE YOU ARE TOTALLY OUT(sorry)imo.
for a medium portion of spagetthi you get about 4 sticks.

i have just been to get weighed and put on 2 and half pounds. first time i have put weight on, but never mind, life gets in the way sometimes.i couldnt get to the gym last week, so that has made a difference, and cant get tonight cause my dd will not go to bed.

I went along last night and have put on a pound. I am gutted. I have not cheated at all. It is peroid week though but I still expected to loose or stay the same. How much do you all put on on your star weeks?
