OP posts:
LoveMyGirls · 26/02/2008 14:49

me arms are getting thinner at the top ands my bum has shrunk, my belly which is my worst bit has also got smaller - can't wait for it not to hang over my jeans from under my bust though, it is just like a big tyre round my middle!!!!!!

I feel so motivated today, i've had a bowl of cheerios and tuna sdalad for lunch jusdt about to have a yogurt then think i'll have a shepherds pie after swimming! (if i go )

LoveMyGirls · 26/02/2008 14:50

ohh btw girls - you lose fat through wee so sdrink loads and wee loads! Also you burn more calories if you eat up to 30mins after exercise.

Jahan · 26/02/2008 14:52

Excellent weight loss Mine and Bel. Keep going!
Katy - thats brilliant! you must be nearly very slim now.
I can't wait for my stomach to go down. I'm only 4 months postnatal so I don't know if I've got some more natural stomach shrinkage due or if its all fat.

food diary;
muesli, yoghurt, coffee
covent garden tomato soup, 2 slices home made bread
chicken and spinach curry, rice, veg

fedda · 26/02/2008 14:52

Bath was good. Soup was good. It's all gone though. I'll do soup tomorrow as well.

susiecutiemincepies · 26/02/2008 14:53

Wow Katy That is brilliant, you must have lost loads!

I'm so geared up now, to start SW. I had SW chips last night with Isobel, and our homemade chicken burgers with a huge pile of broccoli and roasted carrots.

today:
b Slimfast
L Slimfast
D griddled steak with mashed swede and parsnips and carrots.

Snacks :
low fat natural yoghurt with seeds and grains, drizzle of honey.
Slimfast snack bar.
Banana
Apple
Plum.

3 enormous mugs of tea so far too.

Seems we are all feeling positive. Which can only be a good thing! We have to all keep it up now...

Just to add Fedda, Its not the cabbage in the cabbage soup diet that is the 'good' thing about it. Its just that the whole soup, when eaten in abundance whilst eliminating almost everything else in your diet, and re-introdusing things over a 7 day period, is detoxing and low calorie, and therefore you lose weight... You didn't really need to point out your cabbage!

katylessbumpy · 26/02/2008 15:13

i couldn't believe my stomach lol.it still needs toning and i really must start doing the excercises that polly linked to.

i love how everyone is pointing out their best bits
in january we were all moaning how we didn't want to be fat, bloated, overweight and now we are boasting about how much slimmer we are.
keep it up !!!

OP posts:
Jahan · 26/02/2008 15:19

Imagine all the boasting we can do by Easter

katylessbumpy · 26/02/2008 15:22

i think you have just named our next thread jahan

OP posts:
Jahan · 26/02/2008 15:24

I like it

susiecutiemincepies · 26/02/2008 15:56

nah... KAty, I still am fed up with feeling fat, bloated and wobbly! that won't be going for quite some time!

I'm definitely having an 8lb goal for easter. At least.

MrsFish · 26/02/2008 17:31

Yea I'll post a picture of it when its finished but it won't be for 2-3 weeks yet, I was planning on freezing this one today until I was ready to ice.

Although I have practically lost a stone I still don't feel any different, I doubt I will till I get back into my 11 stones. I have a Black Tie Ball at the end of March and I would like to be 11 and a half stone by then so that's 10lbs to go, 8 if I have managed to lose 2 this week.

B = 2oz cornflakes with hot water
S = 2 slices of nimble and flora light, lots of choc cake.
D = soup

1 cup of tea, 1 can of coke zero, 2 glasses of squash, NEED to do Xtrainer and drink more water before the night is out.

I've been photographing a load of clothes I have sorted out ready to put on the sale forum, sizes range from 14 - 18 I still have loads more that I want to keep but are all too small still so that is a good goal for me ready for the summer.

MrsFish · 26/02/2008 17:32

Oh and I still have to lift my stomach to see my CS scar too and mine is also numb to the touch still.

mylittlepudding · 26/02/2008 18:53

Helloooo everyone!!!

Have you all forgotten me?!

We have landed in the lovely Isle of Man. I am loving work. I have wireless internet in the flat at last. DD's childminder is a strenuous (ie. very hilly) half hour's walk away, so I do it twice each morning and twice each evening. But I have no scales!!!

Will try and weigh myself at work. I feel good for the exercise. Glad to hear all seem to be doing pretty well. Missed you!

LoveMyGirls · 26/02/2008 20:28

Hi all,

Well done everyone! Polly I've just come back from swimming and it is a great feeling and i'll definitely sleep well tonight so I hope you manage to go on friday!

My Pledge - I'm not going to drink any alcohol until friday night! I like to have a pritzer or an archers ands lemonade at night but i've decided to not have any for the rest of the week I've been so goods this week ands tried so hard I want to give it my best shot to get another 3lbs off then i'll only have 2lbs to go until i lose my 1st stone!! I'm going to be so ecstactic when I see the scales say 10 st something (they havent said that since before I was pg with dd2!!) Also if i lose another full stone that's 3 st I will have lost in total since having dd2!

Just about to eat my sdhepherdsd pie - I'm starving!!!

MrsFish · 26/02/2008 20:46

Didn't have soup, had a slice of DH's takeaway pizza instead, also not managed Xtrainer tonight. What a crap day, right before way in too

fedda · 26/02/2008 21:31

Today was a good day. 8am - grapes: 10pm - manching on yellow pepper, cabbage leaf and nuts while cooking my vegie soup, L - vegie soup, had bath, watched TV, then another bowl of soup. 4PM - coffee with 2 sugars and nuts. D - baked potato with slices of Gauda cheese and baked beans with a cup of tea with 1 sugar. I'm going to have another cup of tea with 1 sugar and something to manch on. So, I'll have 4 sugars (my limit now is 5). Now, what shall i have with my tea? DS had the last apple. I need to leave the grapes for his lunch box. I need to avoid biscuits and chockies. Think, fedda, think.

fedda · 26/02/2008 22:52

I was about to have dried fruit pieces from a colourful bag I bought for DS2 but i read the ingredients and they put 34 g of sugar in a bag! I'll have to have 1 a day of those. So with my tea i had 2 pears and 5 prunes. I'll have to read the labels before getting dried fruit for DS2 (DS1 doesn't like it anyway). Amazing how mush sugar is put in a snack I'd think ment to be healthy. I thihk it's about 6 spoons of sugar. Okay, i shouldn't go on or I'll get negative again. So being on a positive side, I had a healthier alternative

discoverlife · 26/02/2008 22:58

Hi ladies.
B : friut n fibre

L : slice ham, slad and 3 tbs spicy med veg couscous yummy (asked the chef for the recipe).

D : Jacket potato, 1 tsp of butter, mixed salad (again) and 4oz steak (George Forman'd)

Pudding was 4 profiterols and belguin chocolate (I weighed the lot, digital scales are brill) which pushed me over my daily by 210kcals today so I need and extra bit of exercise tomorrow. I think I will brush the decking, that should burn of a couple of hundred or so, its manky.

But boy did those profiteroles mark the end of a great day.

Day consisted of 4 hours in the softplay centre with DH (who was thinking of 1/2 hour maybe 1 hour, grumpy git) and DS2 with other Home Ed families, which helped us to feel less lonely with our Home Educating and it gave DS a great work out. Give me a month and I'll be chasing him around it as well ( I do a brill 'growly bear'). I have just got to get the talking out of the way first.
Then shopping, and DH bought me a bunch of flowers, ahhh, sweet! they were reduced, I don't mind because you get a lot more flowers for your pound that way. I have suggested he gets a workout vid for me from DS as a Mums day prezzy, so i can be good even on days when it is pee'ing it down. mind you a good bop around the living room, dancing ( a bit of an inaccurate description there, but it was done with vigor and vim) and shrieking at the top of your lungs to Chuck Berry, singing My Ding-a-Ling does wonders for any blues you may have and maybe the waistline. How can you be unhappy singing that best cure for depression known to me.

katylessbumpy · 27/02/2008 07:17
