2am and hungry, so add a bowl of rice krispies with... full fat milk... and ....sugar... Now if it had been the morning it would have been skimmed and some sweetener. but because its this late and DH is waiting for the painkillers to kick in, Im bored and peckish.

katylessbumpy · 01/03/2008 07:42

WELL DONE lovemygirls [clap]

LoveMyGirls · 01/03/2008 09:25

I have treated myself MrsF - I've had.....
fish and chips and peas and 1 slice bread and butter (in the oven of course) some archers and lemonade and a ww choc bar and 2 mini eggs. Today I've had bacon and eggs and cherry toms for bfast and 4 mini eggs.

Think it's time to stop now and get back to being very very good! I only did that because I thought i deserved it plus don't want my body to go into starvation mode! Plus I'm going ice skating tonigth so i'll burn it off again and i'm going to be really good all week now because I feel like i've had a nice treat and can get back to being very good now roll on friday when i'll be 11 stone!!

LoveMyGirls · 01/03/2008 09:32

My plan for this week by the way is.........

Porridge everyday morning
Crackerbread, salad and tuna for lunch
Snacks - ww bars, fruit or low fat yogurts
Dinner - loads of veg and potato with a bit of meat (dp is doing roast dinner tomorrow but i'll have my low fat version) Plus jacket potato with beans and salad, spag bol, shep pie etc
Cut down on tea (therefore less sugar) and drink loads of squash.

Exercise will be - Ice skating, swimming and walking plus cleaning, lots of running up and down stairs, school runs and lifting double buggy and babies that weigh over 1 stone each alot

Come on everyone lets really do well this week! Warn dp/ dh's not to allow the dc's to buy you chocs for mothers day!!!!

katylessbumpy · 01/03/2008 09:42

Very long lie in this morning. I am so glad that DS2 is old enough now to get up without me. But he still crawls into my bed in the morning for an extra hours nap. It doesn't bother me now because he isn't a wriggler.

Wow wasn't that a right gale last night. It has really cleared the air here though, it really feels like the weather has made its mind up to be spring like. The birds certainly feel that it is, the bird song is definetly louder and more varied. I just have to wait till they are in full flow one morning at 4.30am and they wake me up. Then I will probably stick my head out the window and yelll that If they don't shut up I wont feed them next winter.

Have a good day all. Get some fresh air in the garden or park and enjoy this wonderful day, because you know its going to start pissing it down as soon as it gets to May and won't stop till October.

discoverlife · 01/03/2008 11:21

Saying for today.

If you shoot for the stars and hit the moon, it's OK. But you've got to shoot for something. A lot of people don't even shoot. -
Confucius

Very apt for those of trying to lose weight.

discoverlife · 01/03/2008 16:07

Right O then. Thats the bloody garage cleared and tidied. Why the hell can't men just put things tidily on shelves, it only take about 15 seconds longer than dumping it in a mess in the middle of the floor.
When we ever do get judged by aliens, who are they going to think is less intelligent, the men for not have enough brains to tidy away the mess they make, or us women who follow behind doing it for them.

katylessbumpy · 01/03/2008 16:29

because men are arseholes!
not so dh is doing my head in.
sorry i won't moan but i'm glad he's not here

OP posts:
discoverlife · 01/03/2008 17:49

I live with 3 of them and sometimes wish I didn't. I would be quite happy with just DS2 at times. We are soul mates, he was born on my birthday and are closer than I have evr been with the other two.

MrsFish · 01/03/2008 17:50

Finally stopped aching

B = ww yoghurt, 3 nimble and flora light
L = 1 and a half rolls with ham and salad.
S = pkt choc gems and 2 biscuits
D = Leftover homemade lasagne (the one with hardly any pasta and some veg (to be decided)

I've got a strange feeling that I'm not going to show a loss this week despite my efforts, hope I'm wrong. If that is the case I hope I am strong enough to do another good week and hope it shows itself then

katylessbumpy · 01/03/2008 19:22

not hopeful for a loss this week but i've stuck to my points so we'll see.i've got 3 days to redeem myself yet

OP posts:
mylittlepudding · 01/03/2008 19:59

I'm at woooork. Why did I want to do this. I have been here for over 11 hours. Yawn.

I have eaten rubbish too (but it was a goood kitkat!)

I weighed myself on the ward - 11lb4 fully clothed . Why? It was before the kitkat.

I use washables, but I am not obsessive really. They are all gender neutral and trying to wash them in communal washing machines whilst being a week-time single mum is driving me a bit potty just now.

discoverlife · 01/03/2008 20:00

Sorry ladies, I have to leave Mumsnet. I am finding that the rest of the posts I am on are to contentious and I am getting too upset to stay on Mumnets (I have to keep on pressing the topic tab).

mylittlepudding · 01/03/2008 20:04

discoverlife, why? I haven't been around, no idea what's going on, but I can say you will be sadly missed.

pollywobbledoodle · 01/03/2008 20:25

discover..just come here for a bit....is it the home ed threads?

pollywobbledoodle · 01/03/2008 20:42

mylittlepud...never weigh yourself on nhs scales! Are you on shifts? I used to hate the going in fri am and coming out dazed on mon am....tell me that they no longer do that to you!

well done lovemygirls!

glad you went somewhere to say your piece susie. hope life looks better today...

katy, 3 questions...what is diet coke chicken and would dd (a chicken fiend) like it? What is your not so dh up to? Mine has a cricked neck so is not going to the pub....doesn't he know it's my night in alone and i like it! He also has this bizarre idea that if i mumsnet for any length of time it = sex for him....better not stay on too long tonight girls

anyway haven't had too good a day on the diet front...am trying nmot to just binge the day out...please send me good vibes

brekkie...missed it,had a lie in
lunch.....tuna and salad cream and salad sarnie. doughnut.
"snack" 2 quality street, shortbread biscuit
eve.......curry,plain rice a small piece of naan. a bit of semolina.

and half a galaxy, 3 lindt mini eggs,a penguin.....have thrown the rest of the chocs on top of the wardrobe so i can't get at them...don't know why i've had such a sugar craving today, i can usually have a bit of choc and it does the trick....must have breakfast i think...anyway have promised myself a decaff cappuccino and an apple to put a full stop to todays eating

pollywobbledoodle · 01/03/2008 21:42

again, nobody around...will be getting a lot of reading done!

MrsFish · 01/03/2008 21:54

I'm here.

Been ranting at the telly about the complete crap that is supposed to be our Eurovision entry, I mean we brits are supposed to be talented aren't we, its gonna be another whitewash this year.

fedda · 01/03/2008 22:22

Who won last year, MrsFish?

MrsFish · 01/03/2008 22:24

Can't remember, I was on a hen weekend and even though I was sober (pregnant) there was too much going on to take that much notice
